The PCB

The way Pakistan organized the Bangladesh's tour to the country is something of an eye opening, because of following reasons;

1.1: The Venue(s) for the series

The venues for the series are Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Karachi. So much of the hype created for matches being played at the same venues is something boring for the broadcasters and the marketing department as well, because there is no excitement for them to organize the series on the same venues where in the same venues, Pakistan hosted the Sri Lankans.

1.1.1: What message are we conveying Internationally?

Playing games on monotone venues for a country like Pakistan which according to the International Time Zones, spans between 2 different time zones, where according to the time zone, when it is sunset at Karachi, time still remains at Quetta before the sunset and even Karachi-Hyderabad difference is 15 minutes, therefore for a country as vast as Pakistan, we're conveying the message that mate we're willing to stage our home-season at home but only in the selected venues!

1.1.2: Smaller venues would have had been a better choice for the series

Playing this series at smaller/secluded venues would have been a blessing in disguise for Pakistan Cricket in the long run, because cities like Karachi and Lahore have been hosting domestic tournaments but grounds like Hyderabad Sindh, Sheikhupura, Multan, Quetta, Peshawar etc and the list goes on, have been ignored; therefore had domestic tournaments would have been staged in one of these venues, the positions of these venues would have had automatically upgraded accordingly.

1.1.3: The crowd at smaller venues

In comparison to big cities like Karachi and Lahore where the crowd erupts the stadium on Friday and on the weekends, staging and playing games on these venues would have had been a crowd puller which in return would have had conveyed the message that yes Pakistan is a safe country and it is hungry for more message and the prove would have had been the crowd on these games.

2.1: The pitches

The quality of pitches I noticed during these games were something Pakistan opted to play safe against Bangladesh, instead of trying/testing and analyze our strengths and weaknesses on home turf, but instead we opted to play safe which is surely going to backfire when we're going to face more stiff and tougher opponents, furthermore we should remember one more thing that this is the year of ICC World T20 event which is being staged after four years so teams are well prepared, except Pakistan and on that Pakistan when having added advantage of having home games at home, lost that advantage due to incapable mismanagement and nonsensical decision making.

2.1.1: Losing the advantage Pakistan attained during staging of home-series in Pakistan.

Pakistan lost the plot of staging home series and forgot that why teams actually stage their home-series' on their home turf, therefore although tomorrow Pakistan might either be whitewashing the visitors otherwise a 2-1 scoreline but on the long run, it is definitely going to haunt Pakistan because Pakistan actually refused to test their own limits which is the main thing to groom their youngsters.

After Sri Lanka, Bangladesh tour to Pakistan, a rain in the deserted droughted Pakistani Stadiums

Like the title says, first the Sri Lankans and now the Bangladeshis are visiting Pakistan, therefore it is like a rain  in the desert for us Pakistanis. The result and the outcome of this series doesn't matter a lot to us Pakistanis but the fact is, any single loss to Pakistan will definitely snatch the numero-uno position from Pakistan, therefore this is a do-and-die position for the team.

Currently

Currently, the Pakistan team has won the first two T20I's and the last one is remaining for Bangladesh to have some pride in the series otherwise Pakistan is supposedly going to win the third T20I against the visiting visitors.

The next tour...

The next tour (probably) is of the South Africans, which is still not confirmed yet but all of it dependent on approval from the visiting board. Otherwise Pakistan is going to play their next series in the midst of 2020 while touring the Scotland, Ireland and lastly England, which is going to end in September, therefore a long tour to the Europe awaits Pakistan. But such long tour will rust Pakistan both in the challenges and in the continuity matter and the momentum Pakistan got against the Sri Lankans at the Karachi test 2020.
