I would be straight to the point, but it is a ridicule that NZC postponed its tour to Pakistan which was after 18 years.
Why Pakistan?
Like I heard someone saying, it is a psychological attack on Pakistan's reputation as cricketing destination, as Pakistan have been staging International Cricket at its own backyard since 2019 and now 2021 is about to end, and Pakistan hosted its assignment at home, apart from this years' PSL where later part was played at UAE amid COVID-19 threats in Pakistan.
National Pride
It is going to hamper national pride of the nation as it'd mean we are unable to safeguard our visitors properly, which is not reality but this is the reality of modern era where a decision was implemented unilaterally.
But just hours before start of 1st ODI
It is a shame that NZC opt out of the Pakistan leg but the aftermath is going to route through England's tour to Pakistan, where ECB also going towards contingency plans, (god forbid) which is going to create a bad taste in mouth for future tours to Pakistan.
Psychological and 5th gen warfare being played in Pakistan
Psychological because it'll bring more misery for Pakistan to host in Pakistan, as this is going to be deemed as a case study to implement in game in Pakistan, as it'd give an excuse for other teams to opt out safely from touring Pakistan.
Why am I uttering this?
Because when I was researching on this topic, I got to know about an article written by an Indian in August that NZ might get security threats on their tour to Pakistan, which is an eye opener on what actually is going on.
I'll blame PCB media cell
As the way political parties in Pakistan are active on Twitter creating trends, the PCB ain't interested in doing so instead hearing nothing off them regarding the same. Otherwise had it been other country, their media cell would had retaliated for national pride.
