West Indies tour to Pakistan 🇵🇰

It is something comes to a surprise but if that is case than it is very good thing as prior to that announcement, PCB has already been engaged with revamping NSK as enroute my office I have been seeing workers shattering the shades of National Stadium 🏟 in Karachi which has been the first time since Pakistan hosted Cricket World Cup in 1996.

It is something really good for #Cricketcomeshome as prior to that, all Pakistan hosted games were staged at Lahore and for the first time, PCB had its نظر کرم on Karachi.

The PSL

It is on the cards that the final of PSL 3 would definitely be hosted at Karachi as since 2009, 8 years ago things have changed dramatically can't comment on other cities but things changed for good at least in peace and law and order situations, great improvement in the city peace index.

2017 on the whole for Pakistan Cricket 🏏

Things started bleak for Pakistan. I myself wasn't willing to watch Pakistan play #CT17 as I recall my words again that the West Indies deserved to be in place of Pakistan. But after the first game of #CT17 for Pakistan against the Arch Rivals India 🇮🇳, which Pakistan lost miserably, when the first innings ended, I literally went out to shop for my Eid Dress as I expected Pakistan to lost, but the second game which Pakistan played, an office colleague of mine messaged me to turn on the TV when AB de Villiers was caught on Golden Duck, which I couldn't believe until I watched the replay myself. From that point onwards, I was again starting to watch the game like I used to, but seriously there are still goosebumps with Pakistan performance.

The Test team

The test team of Pakistan 🇵🇰 since the retirement of #MisYou has been on decline as our youngsters have temperament of 50 and 20 over cricket but not the temperament of 80 x 5 over cricket 🏏 which needs to be improved because not losing to SL 2-0 but the way they lost is something raising the eyebrows.

Hoping 2018 might bring something good

West Indies v Pakistan

Today is the start of another away series for Pakistan, where both teams are even Stevens since both;
1. Wants a direct entry to 2019 CWC
2. Want to improve their records
3. Wants to carry on the momentum to up coming Champions Trophy

On paper, Pakistan's record looks much stable but like we all saw in recently concluded PSL where QG team combination just before the finals was disturbed, whereas PZ was with full strength, so my point was the team whose combination would be stable will win, and for that I'd rate Windies for it since they have been playing as a team and this is a second series with almost the same combination, whereas Pakistan team on the contrary is new, no doubt vibrant but like I always heard a term especially from the Indian Commentators, The Trust Factor where when a team plays with a particular combination, management team and other relatees start to trust a particular player, bowler etc, that thing isn't available for Pakistan, whereas Windies have tested their team against England so they know what their current team is capable of.

Publishing the stats tonight but I highly doubt Pakistan winning, not because I am unpatriotic but because of the team combination where 5 of your players get suspended and under ECL, that is the only reason. But again may the best team wins but my prayers with my team.

West Indies v Pakistan 2017 - T20I series

Tomorrow marks the start for Pakistan's first foreign trip after PSL 2017, according to Pakistan time, it'd start at 9.30 pm Pakistan Time. After seeing the Caribbean Boys at this years PSL, I was expecting something extra but than I remembered that the current Windies outfit and the boys played at PSL were two different outfits. But most importantly both teams are equally poised as both are both are in their bleak, means it'd be anyone's game whatsoever, as both teams are mercurial and on their day both can have havoc on their opposite's camp.T20I squad for Pakistan
  1. Sarfraz Ahmed             (captain/wicket keeper)
  2. Ahmed Shehzad           (batsman)
