The last 100 overs - a new champion awaits

Woah. It has been a Topsy turvy ride because it has been like EA Cricket 2007 scoreline where stats mattered and this tournament has not been the different compared to the above mentioned games, the way Rohit Sharma played in the tournament and scoring 100s at ease and at will was same like I am playing a cricket game against Australia at Sharjah at a dusty track, satire a side but this tournament has been raising eye brows specially for a guy like me who instead of watching the game, watches these stats and spreadsheets instead, and therefore based on that analogy, I am afraid to say (don't claim, it has been scripted because Pakistan 🇵🇰 ain't in the final) it has been fixated so as to create a particular momentum because unlike 1992, now there is media and social media and therefore it is an important aspect of current era, and because of which, the ICC has to satisfy them with the result(s), furthermore if go through to my previous post where I was claiming not to cry over the spilled milk, I clearly said that you'd have to have a proper say in the management of the governing body i.e. The ICC and the MCC, because sorry to say as compared to other big cricketing bodies, CA, ECB, BCCI, NZ,and surprise inclusion BCB, we do not have that much of the say in front of them, because every cricket board of their interest and which is legitimate but the fact is we would have to have a say in front of them, experience matters in these sort of meetings but the matter of fact is we lack in proposal display in front of them. Because in today's era, we require proper communication, which we are not able to, because of which in result, we are preparing teams and selections on media; social media and The PSL, we aren't using the media and the social media the way the above mentioned are using, I have been following the ECB on social media and the way they have been doing is something we need to follow-up in our system on the social media, furthermore incorporate think tanks at PCB which would predict the aftermath of  current scenarios, because it is highly required today, because many of the people here are going to say Pakistan lost because of NRR, but I say you required adaptibility, it was a blessing in disguise where in the first match you got a brutal hit on your NRR, so where was the coaching staff who were suppose to plan that now we are on that level so we would go game by game, and this particular game if we win would have to play for instance if bat first at least 250+ score in 50 overs and bowl out the opposition instead of waiting for them to play complete quota of 300 balls, because NRR simply comply comprises of {(team runs scored divided by number of overs consumed) - (opposition team runs scored against the team divided by number of overs played by the opposition team)} therefore even if you are not versed in SI and mathematics, you're going to understand the fact that number of overs played by you and consumed against your runs does matters, which is the mantra because of which Pakistan lost, which Pakistan 🇵🇰 has been on the denial specially the press conference I watched of Sarfraz Ahmed at Karachi and Babar Azam & Imam at Lahore, they were claiming they lost due to NRR, like we say in Urdu, Ahmaqo ki jannat mai hi rehna, keep living in an Utopia.

As far as the Kiwis and English teams concern

Both of the teams are good, but the matter of concern for me is that till yesterday when I was reading beyond the lines, England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 were teamed as favorites but I don't know what happened within some hours, even Pakistani social media stream is teaming New Zealand as favorites, all of the sudden, I am not gonna place a conspiracy or hybrid theory, but before following the winning percentages stats of stats bar during the cricket game, do follow bet websites because the rule of the betting websites is that the higher one team's percentages are, the other team wins the bet, it is confusing for many people but being stats maniac, I have like many other people, noted this therefore check for yourself because the script is in the writing for sure. 

Pakistani Social Media; Get a Life

I would never had knocked this topic on my blog but this is the limit as some people on the social media stream have taken advantage of the vastness of this medium and therefore/thereafter responsible for creating an hoax that India lost to England due to hatred towards Pakistan, if I also think like them emotionally, than  this thing looks correct but the fact is this is an ICC event where ECB do not have any say and it is governed by the laws laid by MCC, therefore instead of creating hoax, try to research properly and initially work on your speaking tones and accent and writing of Urdu script on your YouTube channels, because by updating your YT channels, you're actually representing Pakistan on the social media stream, and by the blessing of Almighty Allah, this is the way we're representing the country, Total Demolition.

Even if I accept their arguments

1. Support to the Host Nation

There have been ridiculous arguments, that ICC arranged the itinerary while providing support to Australia and England only because all other teams had their games washed out accept these two countries, my response to these commentators is that they took account of D/L because if you carefully read the points score and/or create a Simple Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, you're definitely getting an idea that except Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, who started accelerating in last 10 overs, these Gora Teams + India; were constantly accelerating beyond 25 overs, which was exploited by England against their game against the Indians where they never allowed the cushion for the Indians to accelerate which Pakistan allowed therefore Indians were able to increase the run rate which resulted in 300+ scores.

Another ridiculous argument was that no English games were hampered with the rain therefore it was also a conspiracy against Pakistan; after going through to the ball-by-ball analysis by placing their single ball stats on an Excel spreadsheet, it clearly showed; they accelerated 25 overs prior the 300th ball delivered, just because they took account of the D/L stats, keeping in mind the same stats are also shown on the on-ground screens where they constantly update the D/L runs after every single ball. Therefore instead of showing the world that you provide your comments without proper research, kindly keep this in mind that by uploading such irrelevant arguments, you're representing the country in ridiculous way.

2. India abruptly loss against the English

This is another argument which Pakistanis have been busy blabbing but the fact is even if I accept their arguments, take the flashlight towards the neighbouring country India; where it is eminent that how the Indians using the content-writers/content-developers for promoting their team in a matter that it creates a vibe and positive advocate in front of the International Media and Social Media, which Pakistan lacks, therefore instead of criticizing India; kindly look into yourself did you place your responsibility in promoting the country in well-mannered-way? Because my take on this is that you're only liable to criticize only when you're completing and endorsing your responsibility. If they say India did this, my take is; what was your take on confronting the said issue, how did you eradicate instead of just criticizing?

Mainstream Pakistani media and common people are in phase to support the Kiwis in this match but for me; England have the added advantage because they have the win at their back whereas Kiwis are coming off a defeat in their bag, whereas being a Pakistani I would want Kiwis to win to have Pakistan being the fourth team qualified for the semis but on the contrary; being the fourth team means Pakistan is supposed to be playing against Australia as compared to current standings of the points table, as the semis comprise of Semi Final 1 SF Team Standing 1 x SF Team Standing 4 and SF Team Standing 2 x SF Team Standing 3 therefore for me, after watching the current points table; things are looking gloomy even if Pakistan qualifies, but lets see as the Pakistan is famous for giving heart attacks to the whole nation, so keeping all fingers crossed because it is like predicting the unpredictable.

Work on grassroots instead of selection on PSL criteria

No offence to the #HBLPSL but the fact is at least for me this #CWC19 was an eye opener for me with regards to the difference between other and our team, therefore it is a high time to start concentrating on domestic cricket and hire high class coaching staff at domestic level as according to current standards, the job of the coaching staff at the National Level is not to teach but to incorporate planning and strategy, coaching manual is related to domestic level, same like university level student who is not taught how to read and write instead they are given a strategy how to utilize the skills learnt at the school level to gain maximum potential/result/output, but this is something so high fi for those who are to make the final decision that they don't give it a dime. #ThinkAboutIt

I'll to admit, we as a nation, always want something ready-made instead of working hard and mentoring the young-blood, this is not in sports only but as a nation, because in every field, instead of mentoring and motivating them, we downgrade them and instead show them being arrogant is the key, therefore I'll have to admit with Younus Khan, that the slaughter of Pakistan cricket was initiated post 1992 era, it was the structure of then Cricket Board that Pakistan Cricket survived, but sorry to say; now we have slaughtered the Pakistan cricket to that extent that Pakistan Cricket has nothing much to offer, because of that slaughter practice, we didn't work on grooming the young blood and creating the backup-of-backup, let alone backup of the main-player, therefore this has been the problem because of which we have been reverting to these already tested players, I do not have personal grudge with any of them but the fact is work on grass root instead of the national team, because when you'd work on grass root, would generate players for the national cricket team, consequently it is a cyclic process, for which we have to be patient otherwise it is bye bye cricket for Pakistan (apologies if someone hurts; but these are my own opinions regarding reverting back to these already tested player and how our mainstream media is advocating their return shamelessly)

Here in this post, there have been some scenarios, on how Pakistan could qualify for the next level of the cricket world cup, but the fact is all of those scenarios contains other teams to lose, کیوں بھائی، دوسری ٹیم کیا چوڑی پہن کر آئی ہوئی ہے ؟ In short, Pakistan would have to play their A-game with ruthlessness, which is the main thing, which has been missing off-late from Pakistani cricket team.

Last four matches for Pakistan

After watching the current standings, I am expecting Pakistan's escape after last four matches, because even if Pakistan wins last four matches i.e. Bangladesh, New Zealand, South Africa and Afghanistan, Pakistan would majorly score 11 points maximum; but it is highly unlikely because Pakistan requires at least if Pakistan bats first, they'd have to bowl out their opponents at least by 150, if bowls first, they'd have to chase the score at least with 15 overs margin, therefore both scenarios are highly unlikely, therefore being realistic person, I usually try avoiding false expectations.
