England in Pakistan - Whitewash 2.0 coming up fellows

Looks like the chaos in the Pakistani camp is resulting in management making haphazard decisions, since this is almost a Monday morning in Pakistan, after 2 hours, it'd be Monday 14th October 2024, and I have been going through to Indian WhatsApp and Sports Channels, they have been busy discussing both Babar Azam and Fakhar Zaman, although sounds amusing, while the English written on their tweets have been of high quality, which doesn't suit their speaking style, but still, who am I to judge them on their speaking skills, but right now I am directly facing 5th-dimensional generational warfare at its peak, where their publicity partners have been trying their level best to create a favourable situation for their clients, as I don't want to name their corporation, it is like an open secret within Pakistani fraternity, it is just about which piece of the jigsaw puzzle you're fitting at the missing place.

Don't blame Indians, they are defending their country

But we as a society and as Pakistanis have forgotten that countries are made based on ethical norms and legacy, not on hypocrisy, because at times, we have been rigid on religion, but on the other hand, lighting up the streets on 14th Rabi ul Awwal while using illegal electricity, for which we as taxpayers are suffering 2.5 hours x 4 times load-shedding. I am not saying do not celebrate, as I am not a religious scholar, but all I am saying is that there should be religious and ethical norms because religion is all based on ethics, morality and setting standards, but when our religious standards are on hypocrisy, what else could we expect? What we are seeing has been an inferiority complex instead of collaboration, The same has been the situation with Karachi, where we have been creating Karachi unlivable city by turning it into a real-estate catastrophe, The same has been the situation with Pakistan cricket as I personally experienced inferiority complex within the masses.
This is a screenshot of an Indian colleague of mine, and I had to agree with him because this is what has been seen, since 2021, when South Africa toured Pakistan, I have been seeing some bowling lineups as if they can't be replaced, whereas to develop new bowlers, we are first required to give them confidence, but we as a society have been confidence eaters, whether it comes to cricket, professional life or overall society.

Look at England

Their captain won their previous series when they toured Pakistan, but they are developing a new captain, whereas whom we develop from the 2022 home encounter? Development takes time, and it is like an investment, but we do not know the importance of the ROI factor, instead as a society we have been so much under an inferiority complex that we are not thinking clearly we are not doing good to the country.

England in Pakistan - Chaos in Pakistani camp

This is another example of mishap management within the Pakistani camp. After a humiliating defeat in the first test match played at Multan, Pakistan became the first team in test cricket history to score over five hundred runs and still concede over eight hundred. Despite their impressive score, Pakistan lost the test match, leading to chaos within the team.

This upheaval, however, was misguided. Non-performing players were replaced by domestic cricket performers like Mir Hamza. What's wrong with this approach? Under the tenure of those dropped, Pakistan has been losing numerous games. It’s time to take chances with younger players and foster a competitive environment where every player knows they could be replaced. This mindset isn't wrong; it’s necessary. Yet, within Pakistan, a media war rages. Decisions to drop non-performing players are criticized as if they are sacred. This criticism is misplaced.

As former coach Mohsin Hassan Khan often said, "Play for Pakistan, don't play with Pakistan." This chaos is a necessary step in the right direction. Indian media might mock Pakistan's cricket history, but we are giving them reasons to do so. It's time to stop treating ourselves as untouchable and acknowledge that we are as human as anyone else.

God Forbid but another propaganda on the cards just like March 2009 for Pakistan

We all remember how much Pakistan's home turf cricket we had missed amid March 2009 Lahore
attacks on Sri Lankan team, and just recalled, yesterday's incident which killed DSP in Baluchistan province of Pakistan, reminded me that we are yet to get ourselves ready for 2.0 version of March 2009 attacks, which is definitely going to take away Pakistan's home ventures away from Pakistani soil if we do not prepare ourselves for a catastrophe which is about to hit us hard, and right now I am not seeing ourselves as well equipped as we were during March 2009 attacks at Lahore.
Sorry helm of affairs in Pakistan, where politics play a "pivotal role" instead of promoting sports, and certain other non curriculum activities in Pakistan, every single individual in Pakistan is obsessed with political parties and political existence, because it radically provides them with so-called sense of security and assurances, but not emphasizing on the softer image of the country, which is laid on to our minds for foreign countries, whereas (without pin-pointing a single country) but there have been countries sporting more softer image of their country although their own country is drenched with history of pedophile and schooling-mass-killing, but all it takes to place all the blame on Pakistan's account, just because (as we ourselves are to be blamed for) we are not ready otherwise we are not well prepared neither well equipped with such skills to counter such propaganda by means of Counterpropaganda skills.
If such kind of news are going to arouse from Pakistan, then how come we be so sure that we are doing good to Pakistan? We have to get out from the eyes of the news channels and start treating our fellow countrymen as a countrymen of this country, otherwise don't expect any good for the future.

Because I am connecting all the dots, and I am observing same mindset of framing PM Modi in Canadian Assassination Cases and similarly framing of Former PM Pakistan, but we are yet to gain sense by now in who is our friend and similarly who is our foe, because today's world is all about priority, and every country other than Pakistan is thinking for its own good and own priority, when are we going to start thinking for the country? I am not supporting any political party but being a common Pakistani individual, I am thinking and typing whatever good for the country, not going to initiate this rubbish conversation whether this political party is good and otherwise, but instead we have to thinking AS A PAKISTANI instead of thinking for a Political Party and afterwards Pakistan, it is all about the country-first approach.

But the same mentality I observed during framing of PM Modi where now evidence have arrived that authorities knew about it when became dormant and were reactivated after PM Modi was framed, means this is all about international politics, but because of this international politics, Pakistan and Pakistan cricket is being suffered, for which I am always going to raise little voice of mine,

A second-string New Zealand team "survived" Pakistan's finest in 5 match T20I series.

This is a disgrace, and like I mentioned somewhere, that Pakistani team possesses strength, skills and raw-talent but instead lack in application of strategies, as in my own words, Pakistan literally have lost this series, as current NZ team had nothing to lose, but still they able to survive an OVERRATED and a full-strength Pakistani team, and able to draw the series 2 games to 2.

Strike-Rate might be the KEY?

Than find a key hole master as striking the ball to the boundary should have been secondary but instead intent to stroke the balls in order to create a multiplier effect should have been the motive, but instead it was other way round, where we were making sudden last minute changes in the team, with no-plan to implement A plan with respect to the B, C, D, plan, which is a shame, because we have been paying these management guys hefty amounts per month ratio, which should have been made accountable, because in Pakistan, there are laws but sans PRACTICAL-application.

DATA... DATA... but where is the practical DATA???

The whole world is using the data analytics especially which was gathered during recently concluded HBL PSL, where some amount of games were staged at Rawalpindi stadium, where visiting team made the great use of data available to them from the vary cricket ground, but sorry to say, our own administration's inability to take advantage of that particular data in order to overcome our grey sectors, which if I can smell 1400 kms from Rawalpindi, so why couldn't these guys who are enjoying TADA's and perks from PCB aren't able to decipher the riddle?

Managing DATA to have an up to date SWOT analysis of Pakistan team!!! An opportunity definitely lost by us Pakistanis!

In today's era, data means everything, even my cell phone is gathering data of my favorites i.e., just like before Ramadan, when I was looking for a new shoe, and was discussing the same with my wife regarding where to buy my next shoe from, my cell phone quickly starting to show me advertisements of NDURE brand, which I love a lot, and similarly it indirectly influenced me to go directly there, instead of going for

HUSH PUPPIES and/or BATA, so long story short, I was telling the importance of data analytics in era we are living right now, when I personally so much influenced by it, so why PCB not taking advantage of the scattered and uncapped data around us? It wrapped back the advantage we had got during Ramiz Raja's time, when we made the Kiwis to tour multiple times to Pakistan in order to make some refund of the catastrophical thing they did, when they left Pakistan without playing a single ball, now they have the right that because we Pakistanis in cricketing terms, not up to that standard to compete with them, and they had proved it, drawing test match series, winning ODI series, drawing T20I series and now god knows what we have in bag when they lock their horns during ODI series in few days time from now.

Lack of urgency and intent

Why they didn't have urgency to make full use of this available data, when we knew NZ team is depleted and some players of theirs were recently in Pakistan amid HBL PSL, so theirs (the Kiwis) data must have been with them (the PCB), but as I mentioned earlier, lack of intent is the thing to blame for, and till then we do not make them accountable for whatever they are doing, we should be ready to have another repeat telecast in a few day's time, when ODI series going to start.

What can we expect off 2023 for Pakistan Cricket?

I usually do not like writing about religion on a cricket blog, BECAUSE not because I do not like indulging two different stratas into one bowl, although like we had seen during recently concluded Qatar's FIFA World Cup organization, religion can be co-existed with sports when there is a moral ethics binding, which is sans available in Pakistan, and whenever someone with good intention wants to start a mid-range between the two, it ends up being plagiarized and mixed up with certain other things, just because you want to prove yourself right, and while you're being proven correct, you have got a license to down-grade the other person who seems opposing you but instead the reality have always been on the other end of the perception, hence in my terminology it is deemed to be called as 'impulsive intention', as you do not have criteria to look forward to your current mindset.

Yesterday

Yesterday, was the last day of a painful year for Pakistan and for Pakistan Cricket as far as stats concerned, was a disastrous and 'first-timer' for history writers, as we had seen influx of Pakistanis opting to move out from Pakistan, furthermore Pakistan Cricket, just when New Zealand team arrived in Pakistan, with the likes of Williamson, Southee, Phillips, and many more, sudden change of authorities sent a wrong message internationally that the economy of Pakistan and Cricket Economy in Pakistan is in jeopardy, but we have been as Pakistanis so shameless that we do not have been thinking about Pakistan instead showing support for such shameless individuals, although writing with respect to the religion, we have been taught that taking benefit, accompanying the beneficiary is equally liable to be punished as the negligent, this is what religion taught us, but our intentions, #AchaSorry have been 'kuch gunjaish paida karo', I might be seemed like a supporter of a political party, but the fact is majority especially in Karachi have been thinking like that; 'gunjaish paida kartay kartay mulk aur sporting activities, dono ka bera gharak kar dia hai; magar ham ne phir bhi sharab se wazu karna hai', while creating options, we definitely have ruined sporting activities in Pakistan, and Pakistan itself, but we tend to be ignoring the faults in ourselves, instead we more likely to destroy the point of view of that particular individual who tries to highlight, that's right, just look how from winners of 4 Hockey World Cups, now we are not able to qualify for the qualifiers, even Argentina when won their first Football world cup, learnt STRATEGY from Pakistan Hockey, as most of the strategic moves in Hockey and Football are similar, and at that time Pakistan was moving ahead of their times, thinking out of the box and incorporating different and newer strategy into the game, because the youth was aligned into these physical activities, instead current times, when every Karachi boy is either a 'shapatar' otherwise a 'Nibba' and a 'Nibbi', which is a shame, how shameless as a nation we have become.

Our Elders are to be blamed for all this

Nipping on to the bud, this is clearly negligence of our elders who now are in their early 50s and above, because they have raised a generation, my generation who are in their mid-twenties to 40s, who do not have shame in them, what they have been producing to Pakistan, instead elders have been injecting complex into their younger generation to seek attention, even at the cost of their own future,

Sports arises from the society, and when society is like that!!!

When we have raised a generation with so much of the inferiority complex installed into them, this is what they are gonna do, when helm of affairs given to such individuals, just recall yourselves, how many times have we seen these people again and again, but we have been acting naive, because in spite of their pasts, we are giving them chances again and again, just because we want to justify wrong deeds of ourselves from theirs.

From sporting society to political society

I have not seen this society but what I learnt from the past and prehistoric ruins of our sporting structures make me think that during the past, we were active in sporting activities, but right now we are publicly a political society, where even discussion among strangers initiates their conversations, on account of politics, otherwise there is no other activity associated to and with, which is something pathetic.

Just because we're now a political society

We do not have tendency to think out of politics and instead of discussing ideas, we are discussing those individuals, who're worth nothing to our lives, instead of upgrading our lifestyle and living standards, we are wasting our energies in discussing useless stuff.

Coming back to Pakistan Cricket

From tomorrow, January 2, 2023, 2nd test in Karachi is going to started, furthermore this is definitely going to be a test match with a result, being a Karachi and Pakistani boy, I want Pakistan to win this test match, but onus is on New Zealand which is going to be played during January 2nd to January 6th, 2023.

After the test series

There is 3 match ODI series, all Karachi based, afterwards there is break for 8th edition of HBL PSL, which is going to be played on 4+1 venues of Pakistan where Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi and Multan are assured to be venues for this edition, but this imported PCB Management has uttered that Quetta's Bugti stadium is supposedly the venue but I personally feel, this is a political gimmick just for gaining political advantage, that's why I hate politics just because you'll have to think out from the political gains, but this current outdated political regime is under a 27 km diameter, furthermore there have been some people who'd start and end their day just on 'pehlay aata itne ka tha, ab itne ka hai' my query to them is how much is wheat now? Before asking for prices, you'll have to think about the country, and place your incentive first before empowering political parties' and their media houses, who do not discuss ideas instead just politics and nothing but politics.

After HBL PSL

New Zealand will return to Pakistan for completion of T20I 5 match series, and afterwards, there is again a 5 match ODI series where first two ODI matches are Lahore based, afterwards rest of the three ODI's are Rawalpindi based, which means till 7th May, 2023, we would have packed season, because afterwards, it is Windies touring Pakistan for 3 match T20I series, afterwards Pakistan will move towards Sri Lanka for yet another test match series, afterwards Pakistan will play against Afghanistan for 3 ODI series, afterwards during the Christmas eve, Pakistan will visit down-under i.e., Australia, for 3 test match series, again Windies going to be visiting Pakistan again February and March 2024 for 2 test matches and 3 T20I matches, venues yet to be finalized. May 2024 is time for Pakistan to visit the Netherlands, Ireland and England for T20I series where Pakistan will play 3,3,5 T20I matches respectively in Netherlands, Ireland and England. August 2024 is time period for Bangladesh to complete that 2019-20 series which Bangladesh was playing in Pakistan when COVID-19 arose, October 2024, England will return to Pakistan for 3 test match series, venues yet to be finalized, November 2024, Pakistan will visit Australia for 3 ODI, and 3 T20I series, afterwards December 2024, Pakistan will go to Zimbabwe for 3 ODI and 3 T20I series, and during the Christmas 2024-25 season Pakistan will tour South Africa, for 2 tests, 3 ODI's and 3 T20I match series, afterwards late January 2025 and early February Pakistan will tour New Zealand for 3 ODI and 3 T20I series, afterwards Pakistan will host New Zealand and South Africa for ODI Tri National Series at home soil, hence Pakistan will be playing too much of cricket before 2025 Champions Trophy which has been awarded to Pakistan. Furthermore, Graphical Representation of Pakistan's itinerary is as below;

Hence, this is a high time, we have to look into how we are going to market our cricket instead of making sure your political point scoring is accomplished, country should come first.

While going through to the post-match programs of our sports channels

Pakistan have lost the final against England by 5 wickets, statistics mislead, today I learnt this lesson, because lost by 5 wickets doesn't give an impression what exactly is going on, because the way we exposed ourselves.

Exposed???

Yes! I mean it, because like in my previous post I mentioned, we had predictable strategy on how we are going to move within the match just because our marketing team exposed our strategies, and became predictable at times, but another thing which I noted that our management was afraid of being defeated, if you are afraid of being defeated, you must have had got alternative of current fraternity of players playing so that players do not have comfort level that they are steady, if they have pressure that someone is at their expense; so they must have taken responsibility.

Captaincy discussion on sporting channels

This is ridiculous helm of affairs as we are talking about Pakistan Cricket, what kind of message are we conveying Internationally? We are exposing that we as Pakistanis are impulsive individuals, Babar Azam is not perfect, I agree. but whose responsibility is it to furnish him?

Captaincy is not a problem, where is the responsibility of the management and those who're on the helm of affairs of making and creation of strategies? Have we made sure that whatever mashups we did today, what guarantee that these things won't be repeated? Furthermore, I am not in favor of changing skippers, instead I have been saying not to bring Sarfaraz back but at least support the current captain, because now whole team management is responsible for giving open hands to skipper, not everyone is street-smart, so when you had someone (Sarfaraz) who was street-smart, why was he sacked instead of backing him up? He was also not perfect, but this is the responsibility of management to get rid of these issues, so have we made them accountable for their actions?

Grass-root mindset upgradation required

This is sad helm of affairs, as whatever the facilities and conditions we get on international arena, is not available in domestic games, ESPNcricinfo not even cover premier Pakistan List A tournament (Quaid-e-Azam Trophy) live, this is why because our management doesn't invest in domestic, other countries earn through their domestic games whereas our domestic games have been سفید ہاتھی with no intention of creating it as an earning body.

Impulsive nature of our people

Right now, when I am typing these lines, I have been scrolling on my social media, and while I was going through their tweets and retweets, I found an unusual aspect where on 27th October, people were making fun, (I was also saying that they do not deserve to be in the finals) but never I trolled them, instead I am still adamant on whatever I said I should be held responsible for it, but the topsy turvy ride I encountered while analyzing the tweets, exposed an aspect that being commoners, we do not have that understanding of how things actually happen,

While someone be reading these lines

They are going to surely say اس کو تو بہت کچھ پتا ہے or something similar on the lines, but this narcissists temperament should not be tolerated nor promoted like the way WE ACTUALLY DID to our boys, these are our boys, they require to be tolerated and similarly required to be taunted, but trolling, mental torturing them, is something totally unethical and during a tour, such things shouldn't be promoted, because it is not about some Asad, Amjad, Kaleem but it is about Pakistan, is that the way we want to give language to aliens/foreigners to make fun of not an individual instead of Pakistan?

Why are we like that?

While making our own people be UNDER our influence? Otherwise, WE ourselves are still under influence from گوری چمڑی but question still remains, why ridicule our own people? Have you forgotten the moral ethics our ELDERS used to teach us?

Qudrat ka Nizam!!!

Another hot topic, currently trending on the Twitter media, is Qudrat ka Nizam, man! this should be the height of maximus trolling, means whatever the thing we can justify; has the license to be trolled, where are we heading to? What are our entertainment arenas? Is trolling only entertainment for us? This is a shame...

Just before the Semi-final 1 between New Zealand and Pakistan

Right now, when I am typing these lines, it is 9th November, Allama Iqbal holiday in Pakistan, and we are going to witness a cliffhanger game between the finalists of previous series i.e., New Zealand tri nation series, viz., NZ and Pakistan are locking horns with each other in two hours' time.

One team topped the group, the other barely made it, just like it was three decades ago

There are parallels. They may not mean anything, but they're there, if you're the kind of cricket fan who looks for them. And if you're a Pakistan fan, you're always looking for parallels to 1992, as there have been similarities in between, decades ago during 1992 and scenario now, but as a matter of fact, we should not get relaxed and treat it as a game,

Form guide

As per current form guide and the hiccups attitude of Pakistan Cricket Team, three wins on the trot is something raising eyebrows, if PAKISTAN wins todays' match, I wish I would be proven wrong as I want it to win but realistically speaking, and as per my internal gut feeling, (again, I want my gut feeling wrong), things might go South for Pakistan, furthermor, both teams' are coming off a win hence today's match might be heartbreaking for one team, where I am placing my onus on NZ (again, I want myself to be wrong).

As predicted - Group 1 consists of...

Right now, while I am typing these lines, the final lineup from Group-1 is finalized, which as per statistics and NRR standings, New Zealand is the Group-1 first team whereas England is the Group1 second team, whereas tomorrow is the turn of Group-2 where at once within a single day, two teams tomorrow by this time will be finalized who'd be playing New Zealand and England respectively during semifinals.

Prospects for Pakistan

I personally do not want Pakistan to go on as the current خلیفہ گیری culture in current Pakistan outfit should not be tolerated, because already our society has deteriorated the ethical and moral norms within the society, which is not my concern because on an international medium like BLOGGER, we shouldn't plagiarize Pakistan on international arena, but this thing should not be tolerated being Muslims,

When it comes to Pakistan's situation, Pakistan is more likely to have the same fate as Australia where SL and ENG were playing but Australia lost, similar is the aspect for Pakistan where India and Zimbabwe would be playing for Pakistan to either qualify for semifinals, otherwise back home, but like we say in Urdu اس طرح گر گر کر کھیلنے کے بجائے واپس ہی آجاؤ as country's respect and dignity matters, although if while playing like that, even if we win, we shouldn't be tolerating this خیلفہ گیری within the team, because everybody was cheering for current outfit just because the دیدہ دلیری they had shown till the semifinal against Australia, people even praised them, this is the culture we should promote instead of showing off the world that we are playing while being afraid of the team we're playing with.

Winning and losing are the two side of the game being played

This is the main thing we should remember that whenever two teams play, one has to win and similarly other has to be on the other side of the win, but the intent being shown is something be exuberating instead of cowardly portraying the brand of Pakistan Cricket on International arena.

Personally feel, India and South Africa

If there won't something like a Zimbabwe-Pakistan game, I personally feel India and South Africa are supposed to be the two teams qualifying for the semifinal berth, although being a Pakistani boy, I would still be cheering for Pakistan, but because the way Pakistan have performed, I should not blindly support the boys in green, although I am cheering for team Pakistan but realistically Pakistan has a mild chance, as currently while I am writing these lines, all of the Group-2 teams have played 4/5 games each, hence while India would be playing Zimbabwe, and if according to the expectations, India wins, than India will score 8 points, otherwise if Zimbabwe wins, it'd give Zimbabwe something to cheer about but would also stuck India on 6 points, when it'd require Pakistan to win game against Bangladesh, because already Pakistan's NRR is superior than India's therefore this is the only circumstances Pakistan can qualify, means in order to Pakistan to qualify, it is needed to be acting like Australia who were watching England v SL game, which is something I personally don't like being a Pakistan cricket fan.

What is next for Pakistan?

Tomorrow after completion of Bangladesh clash with Pakistan, it'd be either Pakistan be playing New Zealand in the semis otherwise it's next encounter would be against England in test match cricket, where Pakistan would be hosting England for the test match series starting from the first test match staged at Rawalpindi, second test match to be played at Multan between 9th December to 13th December, and finally third and penultimate test match to be played at Karachi during 17th December to 21st December, similarly just after completion of England series, small test match series between Kiwis be played respectively in Karachi and Multan during the new years' eve, where first test match to be played between 27th December to 31st December 2022 and second test match to be staged between 4th January 2023 to 8th January 2023 following with a Karachi-centric ODI series where 11, 13, and 15 January 2023 games be played between the opponents.
Afterwards, New Zealand is going to make another trip to Pakistan, for T20 games which is also going to be mostly staged in Karachi which will start from 13, 15, 16, 19 April where all of these games are going to be staged in Karachi, whereas last T20 game is to be played on 23rd April in GSL, after completion of T20 series, from 26th April 2023, first 26th April and second ODI 28th April is to be played at GSL, starting from the third ODI at Rawalpindi on Labor Day i.e. 1st May, 4th May and 7th May, but I personally feel it is going to be a hard fight series after watching recently concluded T20I series against England, as I am personally feeling Pakistan won't have that courage to play with their strength and weaknesses like we utter in management studies known as SWOT analysis, sorry to say, the management at PCB, don't have courage to analyze their strengths and weaknesses, otherwise other teams while traveling to our region, analyze their strengths and weakness in order to cater their challenges they are supposed to be facing while touring Pakistan.

What is the problem with the itinerary?

Currently, after a very long time, I woke up from my hibernation, just because of political unrest in my country, where last time when I made post on this arena, it was Imran Khan regime, and whereas while I came back here, the whole regime has been changed, anyways this is not the right place to talk about this, instead why I am writing this is because something not good for Pakistan cricket off late.

While other countries are engaged in bilateral cricket

Pakistan cricket team, just like me, is in the state of hibernation, as the last time when Pakistan played an IT20, it was way back in April 2022, when the regime change operation attack was still nubile, but one thing is for sure, the kind of presentation improvement in Pakistan cricket during that era, was phenomenal, where Pakistan invested heavily on the presentation of the cricket, and even PCB's media cell was highly active, unlike now when it is updating little bit of updates here and there, at that time it was continuously busy in updating the updates, whereas almost start of Junior PSL about to take place, and we have been deprived of its updates, instead whole of the nation have been programmed in making them a political analyst.

Although

Pakistan is supposed to be playing a jammed packed home cricket series against Kiwis and England, furthermore, Today's 13th August 2022, and from 16th August, 2022, Pakistan's tour to Netherlands going to start on dates 16, 18, and 21st of August, and after that Pakistan is going to start Asia Cup, where Pakistan is supposed to be playing at least 2 games, which could be extended to two more games if Pakistan plays the final.

England's T20 tour to Pakistan 2022

This is something I personally don't like this fact (although I am a Karachiite) but amid 7 games, 4 games granted to Karachi, whereas Multan and Rawalpindi were best suited to stage T20 games, whereas Karachi and Lahore should be limited to stage ODI's and test matches, just like Lord's in England, but T20 games are more liked when grounds are houseful and if we want to stage T20 games, staging Pakistan's T20 ventures would definitely been granted to Multan and Rawalpindi so that our venues are evenly poised, and this thing shouldn't be appreciated that some games of the same series should be staged on same venues like Karachi staging ODI's, test match, and a T20 game, which is not looking good for the Pakistan Cricket as a product, if I narrate Ramiz Raja, if we want to create a successful Pakistan Cricket Product, Pakistan's home games should be diversified and even games should also be allocated to smaller centers, instead of each and every single series should be played on redundant venues. Series being played 20th September to 2nd October 2022 spanning between Karachi and Lahore, where Karachi grabbed four games and Lahore on the contrary grabbed three games, although it successfully staged later part of the PSL 7 including the final.

New Zealand tri-nation T20I series including NZ, Pak and Bangladesh

This is T20I series played between the hosts New Zealand, Pakistan and Bangladesh, which is supposed to be rehearsal for upcoming World T20 event ten days after completion of this series.

World T20 event

This is where Pakistan's T20I season for 2022 going to be concluded. This is actually the continuation of the actual world T20 event assigned to Australia in 2020 but it was suspended due to pandemic and hence next year event was granted to India, which was than played in the UAE, and now Aussies after becoming the champs, are going to stage the world T20I event, afterwards the gaps between successive and continual and back to back World T20 events is going to be normalized and similarly this anomaly is going to be normalize.

But this is failure to Pakistan's PR media policy

Because, ICC is an organization, which is unlike FIFA, is governed by its partnering Cricket Boards, hence when ICC announces FTP (not File Transfer Protocol, but Future Tours Program), it has to be signed by all member cricket boards afterwards ICC can upload the same on their website and officially document it, hence either we do not have that consciousness to understand the repercussions of such pathetic itinerary, because since Australia tour to Pakistan, Pakistan only played 3 ODI's against West Indies, and after that 2 test match series against Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka.

Australia tour of Pakistan - 2022 | 2nd Test at Karachi

Babar Azam's knock against mighty Aussies for saving Pakistan test match at Karachi

Although on the statistics, this is a test match which ended in a draw but the fact is, this is similar to that inning played by Late Hanif Muhammad in saving the test match against a formidable West Indian team, this is the resilience which was once shown by Younus Khan when he played the 313 innings against Sri Lankans; the same series where during the Lahore test match, 3/3 happened in Lahore when international cricket went away from Pakistan and hence Pakistan had to play their home games in the UAE, but coming back to the topic of resilience aspect, this inning of BA is supposed to be called as most resilient inning played on Pakistani soil in recent times, although I must admit; pitch is to be blamed for surely, because these pitches doesn't give chance to our own pace batteries to perform against their opponents in their own backyards is a shame, but amid these all debacles, the innings which BA played, against an opponent as tough like Aussies, in those humid weather conditions, is something to be appreciated, as when both teams were coming to their pavilions after it was decided that the match is drawn and while both teams' players were coming to their respective pavilions, their body language shown where Pakistani players were joyous whilst visitors had their moods down, this is I guess enough for us to understand, who was the winner and who was not.

There have been six higher fourth-innings scores than Babar Azam's epic 196 against Australia in Karachi last week. All of them were over 200, the highest being George Headley's 223 for West Indies against England in Kingston in 1929-30 (that match was also drawn).

BA's 196 was the highest in the fourth innings for Pakistan, previously Younis Khan's unbeaten 171 in a victory over Sri Lanka in Pallekele in 2015.

BA batted for 603 minutes in all; the only longer knock in the fourth innings of a Test was Mike Atherton's unbeaten 643-minute 185 for England against South Africa in Johannesburg in 1995-96. Babar lasted 425 balls, behind only Atherton (492) and Sunil Gavaskar, who faced 443 during his 221 for India vs England at The Oval in 1979. (That's according to ESPNcricinfo's database; there may be one or two longer innings in matches for which we do not have the details.)

While I am writing these lines,

There is tea on the third day of the third test match on the same venue where 3/3 occurred and this is the second test match being staged on the same venue where it all began from 2009, hence this is something to be praised on account of the PCB, amidst pollution scares and other challenges, Pakistan Cricket Board did managed to stage an International Event at PCB's HQ, and coming back to the outcome of the currently played test match, because the way pitch has played is something sniffed towards an outcome to this drawn test match series and hence this is supposed to be a finale to the draw ridden series where any of the team which wins this penultimate test match, clinches the series.

Due to political instability in the country, white ball series (ODI and T20I series) relocated from Rawalpindi to Lahore

This comes as a surprise and bad taste to the mouth that these political parties without thinking of the country, staging their ٹوپی ڈرامہ during that time period while an international team (Australia, after 24 years) is touring Pakistan, at least think about the country, other than for your political self.

Pakistan not out of the jail yet - 2nd test in Karachi penultimate day

This is a reality, even though (I might sound like Athar Ali Khan) but King Babar played a marvelous inning along with Abdullah Shafique and while both players on crease and three sessions to survive, it is a tough ask for both youngsters to show their metal on the global scale,

Wait please...

A wicket here and there, game might WILL definitely slip away from Pakistan's grasp and Aussies are supposed to be the third team winning a test match in Karachi after England and South Africa respectively, because we all know; one wicket falls in Pakistan camp, it initiates a panic situation within the camp instead of calming themselves on, they initiate a run strategy.

But apart from that

The PCB is definitely require to work on sports research and development in Pakistan instead of copying others and do cosmetic stuff like DIP (drop-in pitches) concept in Pakistan where cricket ground in Pakistan are only supposed to be cricket grounds instead like in Australia and in New Zealand, where their ground are multi-purpose, rest... if bounce is concerned, try researching on clay structure and definitely work on domestic structure pitches so that our batters are comfortable in THEIR style of cricket instead of PCB acting naive when staging home-series' with likes of Australia, New Zealand and England in coming times while preparing dead tracks supporting none, which reduces the interest of a commoner who wants an outcome of the match after watching the game for full five days, we require to work heavily on R&D and like we say in Urdu, سب کو ٹرک کی بتی کے پیچھے بھگانا instead find talent from locals who can do Research on composition of clay and how to create a constantly balanced wicket to produce result after 4 and 5 days of cricket, otherwise Rawalpindi and Karachi tests have been responsible in reducing the interest of long format cricket, because none will route to grounds just to watch a test match with no result at the end of the day.

Wishing against hope

Being a Karachi boy and a Pakistani, I want my team to win, but odds are against Pakistan just because of the pitch, Pakistan now in this situation where every single Pakistani fan wants this test match to be saved instead of winning because realistically speaking, surviving 90 overs in a day against a potent bowling attack like Aussies is a very tough ask to expect from this Pakistani lineup but hoping against hope, if Pakistan does that, it is a good thing, but honestly I don't think this would be a call for celebration instead of getting back to the drawing board and work the problem, and the problem I figured, is you defensive approach, we could have had created lively pitch but playing attacking and fearless cricket would definitely had bought goods for both Pakistan Cricket Board, its production team and for Pakistan Cricket because when RR (Ramiz Raja) utters the word brand, this is how a brand is created, not like while creating such ridiculous placid tracks with no outcome whatsoever.

Australia's tour to Pakistan 2022 - after 24 long years

With response to the above Clip, first of of all I was happy to see, the same PSL sort preparation for this series unlike the one NZ and later on England cancelled, due to lack of interests from higher management, but this current PCB management head by Ramiz Raja, at the shadows of two tours being cancelled amid security threats, has made sure that Pakistan's Cricket should be broadcasted as a viewable product, because as soon as RR came into power, he initiated with PCB Shop, where everyone can order Pakistan Cricket Official Merchandise, than afterwards invested in broadcasting deals, because of which GEO SUPER which was previously partnering with PTV Sports but this might be my own opinion but I personally felt, they were aligned with Indian funded Media Personnel, as this time round when deal was finalized with ARY Group, the standard of presentation improved drastically and not only that, but also related to increase in broadcasting and streaming partners, which was sans when it was aligned with GEO group.

Coming back to the series

Currently when I am writing these lines, day three of the first test between two teams have been concluded, and tomorrow is fourth day of the test match but it has been predicted that tomorrow is supposed to be somewhat rainy day, but what I am seeing and with respect to the above mentioned video, I also agree with their point of view, that if weather allowed, and if our bowlers bowled their heart out just like they did during their tour to Bangladesh, where Sajid Khan plummeted the Bangladesh Side on their home soil twice within 24 hours, but hoping against hope, Australia is fully potent to save this test match, hence if I utter in local street language, it'd be a test of skills for not only skipper of Pakistani team but also set of bowling skills and variations of our bowlers and fielders supporting the cause because now Australia is avoided the follow on, but at least Pakistan should go for the aggression and try to bowl them (Australia) out inside our scored runs, because it'd give an head-on advantage when we are going to come for batting again in third innings so that during the fourth innings, we can exert pressure over the visitors, because this pitch (Rawalpindi) is surely going to support bowlers hence we can use non orthodox bowlers like Babar Azam and/or Fawad Alam along with our regular bowlers, such type of thinking should be incorporated IF WE WANT TO WIN THIS TEST MATCH otherwise I might have to agree with Mr. Nauman Niaz Sahab, that this test match is surely going towards a draw.

Coming to across the border

Similarly, today India plummeted Sri Lanka at Mohali with similar circumstances like Pakistan did to Bangladesh in second test in 2021, means India batted once only whereas Sri Lanka once followed on, and secondly they were unable to contemplate in front of the mammoth score by the hosts, similarly this win means India achieved precious two points in on going world test championship, for which Pakistan and Australia are fighting for these precious two points because one single two poin-ter can change the standings of the points table, for which I'd be eying on how both teams play.

First T20I at Karachi between two mercurial sides ends in Pakistan winning

This is like an onus for Pakistan that it performed in absence of veterans in Muhammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik, where Pakistan took chance in depending on their bench strength like Haider Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Muhammad Wasim Jr. etc. and in the first T20I, especially what I saw, it was Haider Ali (HA) and Muhammad Wasim (MW) were pick-of-the-bowler.

T20I in Karachi

I might look biased being a Karachiite, supporting cricket in Karachi, but the ambiance Karachiites showed was awesome, because whole of the Pakistan have been deprived of International Cricket, especially after declination of tour by NZ and later-on by England, it was thought that Pakistan might lose hosting rights in playing in home conditions, which again solidifies my point that all we require is raising soft image of Pakistan instead of showing as if what Pakistan is doing is no doubt extraordinary, but there are more aspects of Pakistan which should be marketed instead of just emphasizing on security, no doubt security matters but by showing such images of cricketers being patrolled heavily indirectly responsible for creating the POINT-OF-VIEW. Instead I say cricket should be promoted and the way Pakistani people welcome cricket in either of the city, this should have been promoted and marketed.

Backing on the bench-strength

As Mr. dependable for Pakistan in recent times i.e. Babar Azam got out cheaply but the recovery mode

which Rizwan and Haider Ali took on their shoulders was something sans from the green shirts. However, he had to hold his end of the bargain against spin, especially off Hosein, who finished his four overs with 1 for 19 by the 11th over. At that stage, Haider was on 12 off 14, looking for the big hits without being able to hit them clean. Then, like a flick of a switch, it all turned around. Off the 12th over, he climbed into Odean Smith's medium pace, hitting him for three fours and six to get his innings going. It proved to be the trigger for a run-surge from there. Under his bus were debutant Dominic Drakes, who also struggled for consistency, as Haider raised his half-century with an 83-metre six. It had come off just 28 balls, with Pakistan at 140 for 2 at the 15-over mark. Off the first ball of the 16th, Rizwan was out as Odean's running catch around the ropes at deep midwicket sent him back for 78. A 105-run third-wicket stand had been broken.

Finishing touches by Muhammad Nawaz

Rizwan's exit gave six-hitter Asif Ali the platform to launch into an inexperienced attack, but he managed just 1. With Iftikhar Ahmed too failing, Pakistan needed someone to side with Haider. As it turned out, Mohammad Nawaz did more. His three fours and two sixes blindsided the visitors, who until then were hoping to restrict Pakistan to 180. That was to change, however, as the 19th over by Romario Shepherd went for 21, thereby allowing for a massive finish.
With the target already looking beyond reach and the asking rate spiralling by the minute, Nawaz and Shadab Khan spun a web around the batters, using the crease and variations in length superbly to tie the batters down. Hope was out lbw sweeping, Shamarh Brooks bowled trying to heave into the leg side and Rovman Powell caught brilliantly by a diving Nawaz at long-on. At 88 for 7, West Indies were in danger of being bowled out well inside 20 overs. However, Odean (24 off 16) and Shepherd (21 off 16) got together to swing their bats for some powerful blows. although they merely served to reduce the margin of defeat.

Wasim's rip-roaring spell

First ball: a glorious cover drive on the up. Third ball: a short-arm jab for six. Enough to demoralise a rookie 20-year old wanting to impress the team management? Not Mohammad Wasim. He responded with pin-point yorker to flatten Nicholas Pooran's off-stump as he was late on the shot. Perhaps he underestimated Wasim's pace. Then, off the second legitimate delivery off his next over, the sixth of the innings, he struck comeback man Devon Thomas flush on his boot. Gone, he didn't even bother reviewing. West Indies were 46 for 3 inside the Powerplay.
