کیا کبھی پوری طرح ہم صحیح ثابت ہو بھی پائیں گے؟

I usually do not like use Urdu title for my cricketing blogs, but right now while I myself have been ashamed on how we have been representing Pakistan internationally, while everyone else is praising Indian young guns who took trophy against visiting Aussies, whereas our social media streams have been acting like engulfed into inferiority complex syndrome, without taking into account how pathetically and feebly we have been showing Pakistan on the global stage.

It's time to wake up and address the issues within our cricketing system. It's time to stop making excuses and start taking responsibility for our performances. It's time to support and encourage our players to perform at their best, instead of tearing them down at every opportunity.

We need to focus on developing our talent, improving our infrastructure, and creating a positive and supportive environment for our players. We need to stop comparing ourselves to others and start working towards becoming the best version of our cricketing selves.

It's time to change the narrative and start believing in the potential of Pakistani cricket. It's time to stop feeling ashamed and start working towards a brighter and more successful future for our team.

Let's support our players, let's believe in their abilities, and let's work towards reclaiming our pride on the international stage. It's time for a new chapter in Pakistani cricket, and it starts with us.

Pakistani sports media

It's important to approach discussions about any group, including sports journalists, with a nuanced and respectful perspective. It would not be fair to label an entire group of professionals as "pathetic" without considering the diversity of opinions and capabilities within that group. While there may be individual journalists who may not meet certain standards of professionalism, it's crucial to avoid generalizations.

Sports journalists in any country, including Pakistan, play a vital role in covering and promoting sports. Their responsibilities include reporting on events, analyzing games, interviewing athletes, and providing insights for sports enthusiasts. They contribute to the development of sports culture, help build connections between athletes and fans, and play a role in shaping public perception of sports.

However, like any profession, there may be instances where individual journalists face criticism for biased reporting, lack of objectivity, or other ethical concerns. Constructive feedback is essential for improvement, and it's important to encourage responsible journalism that promotes fairness, accuracy, and integrity.

If you have specific concerns about the conduct of certain sports journalists or the quality of sports journalism in Pakistan, it may be more productive to address those concerns with specific examples rather than making broad generalizations. This allows for a more nuanced and constructive discussion about improving journalistic standards.

How global sports journalists act

Global international sports journalism plays a crucial role in covering and connecting the world of sports. Here are some key aspects of its role:

1. **Global Coverage:** International sports journalism provides coverage of sporting events from around the world. This includes major tournaments, competitions, and matches in various sports, helping fans stay informed about events beyond their local or national boundaries.

2. **Diverse Perspectives:** Journalists covering global sports bring diverse perspectives and cultural insights to their reporting. They help bridge gaps between different regions and provide a more comprehensive understanding of the global sports landscape.

3. **Athlete Profiles:** International sports journalism often includes profiles and interviews with athletes from different countries. This helps fans learn more about the personalities, backgrounds, and experiences of athletes who represent diverse cultures.

4. **Promotion of Unity:** Sports have the power to bring people together, transcending borders and cultural differences. Global sports journalism contributes to this by fostering a sense of unity and shared enthusiasm for athletic achievements on an international scale.

5. **Multilingual Reporting:** In order to cater to a global audience, international sports journalists often work in multiple languages. This ensures that sports news is accessible to people from different linguistic backgrounds.

6. **Global Events:** Major international sporting events, such as the Olympics, FIFA World Cup, and various world championships, receive extensive coverage from international sports journalists. These events serve as platforms for showcasing athletic prowess on a global stage.

7. **Social and Cultural Impact:** International sports journalism covers not only the games themselves but also the broader social and cultural impact of sports. This includes discussions on issues such as diversity, inclusion, gender equality, and the role of sports in society.

8. **Technology and Innovation:** Journalists covering global sports often leverage technology to provide real-time updates, interactive content, and multimedia experiences. This enhances the audience's engagement and creates a more immersive sports journalism experience.

9. **Ethical Reporting:** Just like in any form of journalism, ethical standards are crucial in international sports journalism. Journalists need to maintain objectivity, accuracy, and fairness in their reporting to uphold the integrity of the sports they cover.

In summary, global international sports journalism serves as a bridge between cultures, promotes unity through shared enthusiasm for sports, and provides comprehensive coverage of athletic events on a worldwide scale. It plays a vital role in shaping the narrative of global sports and contributes to the cultural exchange that sports can facilitate.

Pakistani sports journalism and "childish" attitudes of our journalists

It's important to approach discussions about any group, including sports journalists, with a fair and nuanced perspective. It's not accurate or constructive to generalize and label an entire group as having "childish attitudes." While there may be instances where individual sports journalists exhibit behavior that is unprofessional, biased, or sensationalized, it's crucial to avoid broad generalizations.

Sports journalists, like professionals in any field, can have diverse opinions, styles, and approaches to their work. Some may focus on entertainment and sensationalism, while others prioritize factual reporting and analysis. It's important to evaluate the work of individual journalists based on specific instances rather than making sweeping judgments about an entire profession.

If there are specific instances or concerns about the behavior or attitudes of certain Pakistani sports journalists, it would be more constructive to address those issues with specific examples. Constructive criticism can contribute to improvements in journalistic standards and foster a more responsible and professional approach to sports reporting.

It's also worth noting that sports journalism, like any form of journalism, operates in a dynamic environment with various pressures and challenges. Journalists may face time constraints, editorial demands, and the need to capture audience attention in a competitive media landscape. However, maintaining ethical standards, objectivity, and professionalism should always be priorities in journalism.

If you have specific examples or concerns about the behavior of Pakistani sports journalists, it might be helpful to discuss those instances in a more detailed manner to facilitate a more meaningful and constructive conversation.

Taking responsibility of our own actions

The idea that individuals should take responsibility for their own actions is a principle that transcends national boundaries and applies universally. Personal responsibility is a fundamental aspect of ethical behavior and societal well-being. While it's true that individuals everywhere should take ownership of their actions, it's also important to consider the broader context in which people live and make choices.

In the case of Pakistani civilians, as in any society, promoting a culture of individual responsibility involves various factors:

1. **Education:** Providing education about personal responsibility, ethical decision-making, and the consequences of one's actions can empower individuals to make informed choices.

2. **Community Values:** Encouraging a sense of community and shared responsibility can foster an environment where individuals are mindful of how their actions impact others.

3. **Legal System:** A fair and effective legal system is essential for holding individuals accountable for their actions. This includes transparent and just legal processes that ensure consequences for unlawful behavior.

4. **Media and Public Discourse:** The media plays a role in shaping public opinion and values. Responsible journalism can contribute to a culture that encourages personal accountability and ethical behavior.

5. **Leadership and Governance:** Political leaders and authorities also play a role in setting the tone for responsible behavior. When leaders uphold ethical standards, it can influence societal norms.

It's important to recognize that individuals are part of a larger societal framework, and systemic factors such as economic conditions, access to education, and the quality of governance can influence the choices people make. Therefore, efforts to promote personal responsibility should also address systemic issues to create an environment conducive to responsible decision-making.

Encouraging personal responsibility is a shared goal in many societies, and fostering a culture that values ethical behavior benefits individuals and the community as a whole. It's a principle that can contribute to the well-being and development of any society, including Pakistan.

Pakistani "new look" Test Team arrived on Australian shores

Right now, while one Aussie T20 team is competition against Indians in their own backyards, whereas their big boys are getting themselves ready to compete against visiting Pakistani team, having no expectancy off them regarding performance of any sort, as PCB's pathetic media campaigning was brutally exposed, where during conclusion of ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 Final which was played between India and Australia, one game was being played at Narendra Modi Stadium, in Ahmedabad, whereas another game was in process at Gaddafi Stadium of Lahore, where within the matter of hours, Pakistan's management was upside down changed, (although those people who are responsible for countering them, has been held constant), but like I mentioned in previous blog post, these 70+ aged people, who are hungry for attention seeking, are running the helm of affairs of PCB.

PATHETIC PAKISTANI CRICKET BOARD MANAGEMENT TEAM

Right now, while Pakistani team is going to play against Australia in their own backyard, PCB media management is all time lower, where they have been busy relaying news about PSL swapping and Nasim Shah, this is all what

This is something drastically changes the taste of the mouth, because although he served his punishment, and I have no doubt that he might have learnt his lesson, but this is a reality, that the tainted individuals should not be glamorized, because the way others who take advantage for the same, because we as Pakistanis are known for giving گنجائش, and this is the گنجائش.

Pakistan Cricket Team after Cricket World? What are the expectations?

This is a shame, that right now while I am writing these lines, things are still encircling around same megalomaniac mindset, where even 70+ aged PCB chiefs are still craving for the "benefit" earned while associated with PCB, but none is willing to benefit Pakistan and Pakistan Cricket, and sorry to say, we Pakistanis are equally responsible for whatever we have been encountering right now.

ARE WE STILL PREPARING FOR AUSTRALIA TOUR OTHERWISE WE STILL LOOKING FOR A SCAPEGOAT????

Searching for scapegoat is our favorite pass-time as a nation, because right now while analyzing the situation, circumstances and happenings in Pakistan and Pakistani media, could only be called as "pathetic", nothing more than pathetic,

Toothless Pakistani pace bowling, without pace-bowling backup

This is a reality, that this pathetic Pakistani society mindset, is still sustaining, although we have suffered due to this megalomaniac and the favoritism mindset during this Cricketing World Cup which is being in penultimate period, as tomorrow India is going to lock horns with New Zealand, and here is our cricket team, which is back home, furthermore the لفافہ journalists have been playing on both ends of the wicket (hypocrites),
I personally feel, Pakistani bowlers do not have capacity to bowl out opposition teams for 20 wickets, because in order to win a test match, we are require to take 20 odd wickets, and afterwards

Why they are not criticizing current SETUP, and not penalizing the factors

Just as I mentioned earlier, we as a nation are goons of hypocrites, and furthermore drenched into this habit of attention-seeking, should I rephrase, attention-seeking goons, because

Continuity in PCB management

Amid April 2022, there have been 3 PCB Chiefs sat on PCB HQ in Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, where as per screenshot of the same, even its shades are required an overhaul, it was shameful for me, how Indians renovated their old structures, whereas we have been busy in thudding our opponents, but not thinking about cricket and Pakistani people.

Spoiling management and cricketers simultaneously

Controversies and Pakistan Cricket is synonyms to each other, because our nation is چٹورے nature,

Obsession with foreign coaches

Some might be taking it as casual, but for a dedicated Pakistan Cricket Team Fan, this is literally a shame towards Pakistan and likewise Pakistan Cricket, because the way Pakistan and Pakistan cricket was ridiculed and downgraded just because we as a nation have been megalomaniac by nature, where we are supposed to be always right, although we are not correct, because the impulsive society we have created, we all are require to take accountability for the same.

Pakistan Cricket required ownership

Obsession with foreign coaches has definitely ruined Pakistan Cricket, I might look like an idiot, but literally what I mean here, at least have some VISION and along with MISSION PROCESS, all they have been following is backpacking approach, where you're only concerned with short-term achievements, which satisfies your internal egoistic

Return of چلے ہوئے کارتوس

What I am listening off news reports, (no offence, but I am more of a man, who believes in having a vision, and mission, instead of acting as a backpacker), because the way we have been ridiculed internationally, without taking into account the respect and dignity of the country, since Muhammad Amir is about to make a return, this clearly exposes the hypocritic nature of Pakistanis and the way Pakistani media have been cashing in the opportunity.

Pakistan almost out from CWC even if Pakistan plays tomorrow's game with enthusiasm

Logically, Pakistan is out from Cricket World Cup 2023, hence I am not expecting to watch tomorrow's Pakistan v England game, even if Pakistan wins tomorrow's encounter, it is highly unlikely that Pakistan may be winning heavily, because it is the heavy win which is required from Pakistan, a win of about 284 runs, otherwise chasing England's target within minimum overs, without conceding more balls,
Because as per current standings after conclusion of South Africa and Afghanistan game, situation has definitely cleared up, and the main difference has been 0.74 and 0.04 of New Zealand and Pakistan respectively, because as I was reading comments from some of India fellows, and I am also of the same opinion, that NRR scare increases when number of games are added, hence try to improve your game while nubile in the tournament.

This is the responsibility of the management roaming with the team to look-after

This is another high point, where we should start thinking for the country, instead of thinking about personal scores, and showing off that you're someone who is thinking for his own seating, instead of thinking for the country.

Is bringing "used-guns" the only solution, or should we had

PREPARED "new-guns"????

I was going through social-media, where (I am not a BLIND SUPPORTER of Babar Azam) but here I am talking in broader perspective and broader view that,

Abusing our assets and the itinerary before "all-important" ICC Cricket World Cup

Apart from itinerary before cricket world cup, did we work on backup plans? Were we interested in preparing the backups? Why weren't we exposing the players which we were planning to exert on opponent teams just like they are useless beings?

Incorporation of the "Hybrid Model" - Where were your INTERESTS?

This is related to respecting your product and we are required to work on product placement, instead of playing Karachi-card, think about Pakistan how Pakistan picture is being shown internationally, have we thought about it?

Is bringing back Karachi players the only solution - otherwise getting rid of your personal egos be placed aside?

This is a major point of issue, where as a nation we are require to lay our biases aside, and instead think for the country, What I personally suggesting that Pakistan should have had otherwise should prepare for the future, (no disrespect) but where have been our backups? EVEN IF IT IS NEED OF THE HOUR to bring back old players, HAVE WE PREPARED FOR "LIFE AFTER THEM"???, why we have been negligent in preparing backup,

Even if Karachi players are necessary for a solution, where is the continuity mechanism?

Continuity is something which we have been lacking since golden era of 1990s of Pakistan Cricket, little period of stability, during former PM Imran Khan, where our cricket flourished, even if you disagree, there was continuity, but sorry to say, afterwards we have been all politicized, playing with our own internal biases, furthermore we have forgotten the past quite easily, so I guess if Afghanis are abusing Pakistanis, Pakistanis do deserve to be abused, because this is how we Pakistanis have been arrogant, because just for placing personal agenda, we have forgotten, what kind of pathetic picture of Pakistan we are relaying.

Respect the law and the rules

Karachi's traffic momentum is a clear indication of how as a nation we are moving, when we as Pakistanis do not respect the TRAFFIC LAWS, how come we expect them to respect the laws of the land, and what is the difference between you and the outgoing Afghanis, where is your patriotism?

There should be check-and-balance on mainstream media in Pakistan

This is the main point, because these MEDIA HOUSES in Pakistan are mainly responsible for creating anarchical situations in Pakistan, and likewise with Pakistan Cricket, because media houses in Pakistan have been dealt with settling personal scores, I know BABAR AZAM as skipper not suitable for Pakistan, but in order to ridicule BA, why are you ridiculing Pakistan, respect him since he is the skipper of the national team playing in a Cricket World Cup, I was viewing comments from likes of Michael Vaughan from England and Adam Gilchrist from Australia, where they were bluffing and laughing over political situations, and how we Pakistanis are busy in pulling others' legs, which they have been observing as laughter stock, and sorry to say but here we have been so pathetically egoistic as if PAKISTAN exists otherwise not exist, they don't care, but their EGO should exist.

The news aired by them is not Khyber-to-Karachi but globally

And such kind of pathetic news being cemented by the name Pakistan, and we are ok with it? Ahmedabad WAS drenched with riots history, but now it is hosting a Cricket World Cup matches and the final match of CWC, furthermore it is boasting with world's largest CRICKET stadium in the world, surpassing Melbourne Cricket Stadium, Ahmedabad news is being rewritten with such history, whereas we Pakistanis have been so egoistic, we have forgotten, that everyone has thought Pakistanis as مندر کا بندر and similarly مندر کی گھنٹی who has brought us to this strata? Our own ego... and likewise megalomaniac mindset.
Because today morning, there was a petition filed at Bangladesh High Court on Waqar Younis, and as a nation we have been mummed, yester year, the same sort of riot erupted when Pakistan hoisted its flag on Bangladeshi soil while they were practicing, even then we were mummed, اگر بولنا ہے تو یہاں بولو we are not using word power over here, instead of pathetic things, ridiculing Pakistani worldwide, as a nation and similarly as cricketing nation.
While we have been disrespecting those who bought respect to our country, the same has been reciprocated by other countries, as we have been ourselves responsible for whatever we have been doing to the country.
Initially it was Zainab Abbas, afterwards Rizwan and now Waqar Younis, but sorry to say our cricket board has been guilty of keeping themselves quiet without taking into account what they have been doing to the country.

PCB should be APOLITICIZED

Just like I mentioned in my previous post, just like Quaid-e-Azam's 14 points - viz point number 9, Sind should be separated from Bombay presidency, similarly PCB should follow the same in PCB should be separated from Government of Pakistan's presidency, because Political Influence in an independent cricketing body in PCB is not suitable for its stature.

No question on talent - but Pakistan suffers with managemental نالائقی

Right now, unofficially Pakistan is out from yet another Semi Final berth, final stamping is gonna be stamped after two days, but the ridicule Pakistan and Pakistanis suffered, is something detracted me from the game of cricket, but still few things I noted listed as below.

An Apolitical Pakistan Cricket Board

Pakistan Cricket should not be influenced with change in governments, just like 14 points of Quaid-e-Azam's fourteen points, the ninth point stated
Same thing, I want for PCB, where PCB should be treated as individual private entity, instead of association with whatever the government comes into power, (I personally wish this melodrama ends, because we want a livable Pakistan for human beings), this government interference is required to be dethroned.

Societal Influence

The sudden degradation of Pakistani society, and something which has been running for centuries into our genes, is conformity biases,

Definition of conformity bias

Conformity bias is the tendency to change one’s beliefs or behavior to fit in with others. Instead of using their own judgment, individuals often take cues from the group they are with, belong to, or seek to belong to about what is right or appropriate. They then adapt their own behavior accordingly.

Conformity bias is a powerful force that shapes societies around the world, including Pakistan. Let’s delve into how it impacts Pakistani society:

  1. Unconscious Biases:

  2. Media and Algorithms:

    • Social Media: The advent of social media has amplified biases. Algorithms reinforce people’s existing beliefs, creating echo chambers that sharpen biases.
    • Filter Bubbles: Social media feeds often cater to users’ preferences, reinforcing their existing viewpoints. This can perpetuate stereotypes and hinder open-mindedness.
  3. Changing Social Landscape in Pakistan:

    • Nuclear Families: The shift from joint family systems to nuclear families has altered social dynamics. Independence and individuality are now valued by Pakistani youth.
    • Media’s Role: Pakistani media plays a crucial role in spreading awareness about gender bias, poverty, and peace. Exposure to foreign content reshapes cultural and social values23.
  4. Breaking Stereotypes:

    • Awareness: The twenty-first century emphasizes challenging stereotypes. Social psychologists explore unconscious bias, aiming to dismantle harmful preconceptions.
    • Understanding the Unconscious Mind: Recognizing why our minds rely on instinct over analysis is essential. Factors like socialization, personal experiences, and media exposure contribute to our biases.

In summary, while awareness has increased, unconscious biases persist in Pakistani society. Addressing these biases requires collective efforts, education, and a commitment to empathy and understanding. 🌟

Transparency... not so transparent

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has been grappling with issues related to transparency and governance. Here are some notable instances:

  1. Age Verification Measures:

  2. Selection Criteria and Conflict of Interest:

  3. Managing Committee and Policy Decisions:

  4. Long-Term Strategy:

While the PCB has taken steps to improve transparency, ongoing challenges require continued vigilance to maintain credibility and fairness in Pakistan’s cricket system. 🏏

Societal influence and Teams Selection on Social Media polls

Lack of professionalism

Right person for the right position, at the right time

The selection process in the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is a critical task that involves choosing the right person for the right job. The PCB is the central industry for cricket in Pakistan and deals with all matters related to Pakistan cricket and International cricket1.

The selection committee, led by individuals like Shahid Afridi, meets with the national team’s captain and head coach to discuss selection issues2. This process ensures that the most suitable players are chosen for the team.

However, there have been instances where the PCB has had to investigate allegations of conflict of interest in the team selection process3. For example, a 5-member committee was formed to investigate these allegations after Inzamam-ul-Haq resigned from his role as chief selector3.

The majority of the picks are usually straightforward unless someone becomes unfit, or there is a surprise or two as part of an experiment4. Any noteworthy tryout is rare these days, specifically before a mega event4.

In conclusion, the selection process in the PCB is a comprehensive procedure that aims to ensure the best team composition for upcoming matches and tournaments. It involves careful consideration of each player’s skills and fitness, along with discussions with the team’s captain and head coach. However, the process is not without its challenges, and the PCB has mechanisms in place to address any issues that may arise.

Bench-strength management

Personal inferiority complex should not hamper
the system.

The term “inferiority complex” refers to a persistent feeling of being inferior to others in some way. It’s not specific to any one group or nation, and it’s certainly not limited to the Pakistan Cricket Board or its fans. However, there are discussions and observations about an inferiority complex within the broader Pakistani society12.

In the context of cricket, some fans may feel a sense of inferiority due to various factors such as the performance of the team, comparison with other teams, or the influence of social and cultural factors3. It’s important to note that these feelings are subjective and can vary greatly among individuals.
