Things aren't looking as cool for Pakistan before this clash, because of two obvious/visible reasons;
First of all
Pakistan's points are stagnant at 3 having NRR at -1.796 whereas India comfortably on 5 points having NRR 0.539, furthermore Pakistan has played 4 games whereas India has a cushion of one game, which means Pakistan has to win 4/5 games including the India-Pakistan game, which is not a pressure for India as even-if (it is a big IF) India loses to Pakistan, even-than India is not on problem because now the rest of the games for India are against the minnows because they have played against South Africa, New Zealand and Australia already, therefore now Pakistan, England, Sri Lanka, the West Indies, Bangladesh and Afghanistan are remained, therefore India can definitely/easily make their way through to the semis and most probably towards the finale, whereas I am personally not very optimistic with the same for Pakistan, Pakistan has been playing like a generator whose oil-chamber-seal is damaged and just before starting, a new dose of fresh oil is required to have it start and take the load, which you all know is not a reliable option. Therefore I am not very optimistic with Pakistan (no offense, but trying my level best to be optimistic but things are really gloomy for Pakistan just like the weather in the UK)
