NZvPAK Lack of Strategic Management!

Being Monotone

This is something I personally noted specially during Sri Lanka's white ball leg to Pakistan, where strategy of management was obscured as offended and afraid; as instead of improving younger guns, they (the management) was not assured of investing on younger guns, opted back towards used bullets, which backfired as this is contra to the current trend where teams have been incorporating and strengthening their bench strengths, but the team of Misbah and Waqar where Waqar Younis have been associated with Pakistan team not the first time but quadruple time, and most of the time, he was involved in something confrontation, and this is no secret.

About Misbah

I took it to surprise, maybe Misbah was awesome white kit skipper for boys in green; but is it a certificate that a successful cricketer might be a successful coach? I personally feel that we had two home-grown cricketers who were good in coaching department, number 1 was Javed Miandad, and number 2 was Mohsin Khan, who had brains, and went with the concept that any day could go South so we should revamp for that situation instead of going on the direction of the winds without any planning.

This is why

I said they have been monotone in their strategies, that this is the only way to play, instead of conceptualization of strategies, even in spreadsheets we use IF-THAN-ELSE and NESTED COMMANDS where we use ";" semi-colon for using multiple commands on the single line and inter-connected with previous command, but the software in Misbah's mind is outdated, which is on single core otherwise modern cricket is moving on at least quad core whereas Misbah and Waqar Younis have been going on reverse gears, if you go through this screenshot above, CA have been planning and laying down their strategies for five years, for making it as a product of masses, and on the basis of which, they have been planning their strategies in-line with they way they want it to be seen in Australia.

Is Misbah and Waqar necessary for Pakistan Cricket?

I personally feel, they have bought enough losses to Pakistan, first Misbah should have strategic management and strategic manegement from Pakistan's domestic circuit on how to motivate the team to achieve what expects off them, which is currently being lacked in current Pakistan team, where we have been acting like that spoiled child who buys whatever looks good but doesn't know the importance and the need of that commodity, first recognition of the need is the main requirement and then go for IF-THAN-ELSE, I feel either Mibah ain't able to elaborate his plans to the team, otherwise he is not able to have control on the team, which is a necessary for the team coach to have control on and within the team.

Getting Back to NZvPAK

Pakistan's bowling and fielding was toothless and dropped too many extras and dropped catches resulting in extra runs, miss fields and gave NZ chances to capitalize a score amid 600+ score, on a pitch if a proper plan was incorporated and I must emphasis, that rotating the strike, strike rate, how to initiate the plan and where to plan, and strategically plan, but I personally felt Pakistani batters and bowlers look out of hands-and-eye-coordination.

What about Sohail Khan as experienced campaigner in current Pakistani test match fraternity???

Pakistani bowlers in current Pakistani squad, Pakistan lacks someone who has pace with swinging and good-length yorkers, although he is part of the squad but just like Fawad Alam, he is also uttering اپنا ٹائم آئگا! Fawad Alam after 11 years when given chance scored fighting century on a loosing cause, but we require such fighting from the rest of the cricketers as well. This is a shame that why Waqar and Misbah have been ruining Pakistan Cricket? I personally feel PMIK should take note of it, because Misbah is incapable of utilizing the resources available to him, same is the case for Waqar Younis, Wasim Akram also retired the same era where WY retired, but look what he did with KKR, and now Karachi Kings, because he is a strategist, specially the time when Karachi Kings had lost Dean Jones who was coach of Karachi Kings when PSL got suspended amid COVID-19, this is high time for PCB to invest not only on media presentations and music, but also the team because if Pakistan team performs, it would strengthen PCB internationally.
