Although, I should use words with caution as the heroics from 11-year-isolated i.e. Fawad Alam was a treat to watch, but this is a shame that the slump in Pakistan's test match ventures at foreign soil has been on the decline, since when in the history Pakistan won a foreign-soil test match series??? The answer is nada'

Strategic Management is the key aspect of modern and current coaching assignments, but in the mean time; in Pakistan, situation has been towards the South Pole, as current coaching fraternity is showing and exposing their inability to develop players, sketching drawing boards on where are we going to be standing 3 years from now, i.e. being proactive.

Why not developing your domestic on scales of International Match Pressure???

Because when we compare debut players from other countries with ours, the difference is just like between Planet Venus and Mars, the former is too hot for melting down lead, whereas latter one is as cold to create ICE-7 although Planet Earth lies in between these two planets, but the difference is drastic, same is the case for Pakistani debut and International Debut Players, so it is high time for national team coaches to involve themselves into Pakistani domestic matches, instead of depending on TV coverage, because the Human Touch can never be replicated into TV Coverage.

First test between New Zealand and Pakistan, and what to expect off Pakistan in this test match.

The first test between NZ and Pakistan; seems a shorter test match as I personally feel, it is going to end within span of 3 days, not more than that. As Pakistan is right now playing on couple of fronts, including the management front as well, as Misbah and Waqar both have been called back after conclusion of first test citing the same reasons i.e. conflict between Muhammad Amir and Waqar Younis, furthermore Pakistan is also playing to avoid the follow-on, and then the third is how to save, amid such heavy scores by NZ, something like Younis Khan 313 against SL at Karachi 2009 is required from an individual from current Pakistani players, otherwise first test is literally a gonner from Pakistan's point of view.

Situation in Karachi 

The Covid-19 situation in Pakistan is nearly under control, with the country slowly returning to normalcy in recent weeks. While the government has been issuing daily alerts about a potential second wave of infections and appealing to the public to wear masks, only a few cities are observing a lockdown as restaurants, educational institutes, marriage halls and public transportation continue to operate freely.

This is to make sure that 11 days break before start of 3rd round as during that period; PSL remainder games are to be played,  and during that period, the Q-e-A trophy is going to take a break and during those period, participating players are going to take a quarantine, 

A player adjudged COVID-19 out

Bismillah Khan of Balochistan as been adjudged COVID-19 infected, personally I feel, is a bad omen for PSL remainder games going to be staged in Karachi in second week of November 2020. But this is a good thing that unlike some other country playing their lucrative championship in Dubai instead of their home, Pakistan able to stage their National T20 and now Q-e-A trophy in Pakistan and also hosted Zimbabwe, where when I am writing these lines, Pakistan won the series 2-1 where Zimbabwe won the last i.e. 3rd ODI at Rawalpindi being a tied game which was won by Zimbabwe on super over.

International Games in Pakistan post Covid-19 scenario

This is something me being a fan of green-shirts would always wanted Pakistani grounds to stage an International Game on green soil.

Without crowd

This is something I would have to bear with otherwise I personally would have wanted participate in one of the games being played in Karachi,especially when PSL's remaining games are to be played in Karachi colours, which is something like I mentioned above was a dream for me, but due to pandemic situation prevails globally, we also have to observe the SOP's but this is a plus that none other than Pakistan currently having their domestic and international ventures simultaneously in Karachi and Rawalpindi respectively, where currently Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2nd part games are being played between Balochistan and Southern Punjab at Karachi, whereas Zimbabwe are playing ODI's in Rawalpindi against Pakistan.

PCB investing heavily on production

Cricket TV production post-Covid-19 scenario has deemed a great importance hence the PCB also investing the same on cricketing TV production and even introduced their all-active YouTube Channel as well, airing Pakistan's cricketing ties whether domestic otherwise international, but this was something which I always missed from Pakistan, which is now in 2020 being implemented, as I found it entertaining watching graphs of Pakistan domestic games, statistics, coverage meeting the international standards (although I must admit not even closer to that standard, but still they're working hard) as I found domestic cricket being aired with better production something better than nothing.

Production Standards from National T20 to Quaid-e-Azam trophy

From the start of National T20 2020 initial games in Multan, from each and every single individual game, the presentation standards improved, and it was a continuous improvement, apart from the Font-Family uniformity in National T20 was something I personally noted down and the same was also mentioned on Geo TV's Score as well, since the font family they used were good according to a laptop's standard but on bugger screen like we have at least 20 inches TV's at home, it was too minute, but I personally want to have tap on PCB and PTV for working on it and in Quaid-e-Azam trophy, font family was uniformed and hence it was more pleaser on the eyes than National T20.

This is a normality in today's cricketing production keeping in mind, such things are encountered even in technology savvy working areas like Sky Sports Cricket and SuperSports but the fact is they have a continuous culture of production unlike PTV and Geo Super who were always relying on TenSports which is a sub-part of Sony TV Network India, hence we need to give something breathing spaces to both Geo Super and PTV Sports because it is us who IF supports them, will improve the standards of Cricket TV productions in Pakistan, hence we only demand a continuous improvement in TV production standards, otherwise TV production is a tricky thing which also depends on other-than-sports-aspects like Psychology, Statistics Inferences etc. so such thing DO occur at technology savvy workplaces like I mentioned above Sky Sports Cricket production team and SuperSports, so compared to them, our cricketing coverage standards are nubile hence I personally would like to give them sometime before we analyze them critically

Like I mentioned a term above, continuous improvement; which is the main thing because now PCB is heading towards the same thing which India did years ago, and what I mentioned in my previous blog article, that Pakistan should go for a uniform TV production headed by PCB itself, hence this time round, it seemed PCB was reading my suggestions (just joking), but this is something worth mentioning that PCB is heading current cricket production, and although Sony is official broadcaster but PCB is owning the graphics presentation, which like I mentioned in my another blog, having individuality has it onus, which India did, although Star Sports is their official broadcaster but graphics presentation for India games are different than their production for Bangladesh, because it helps India to portray their cricket as their cricketing product, because in today's world, cricket production is like a wrapper wrapped around a physical outcome, hence the same is for PCB, where Mics were labeled with PCB, commentators other than Zainab Abbas were wearing PCB provided PCB Emblem uppers and shirts which is good for the promotion of PCB and Pakistan Cricket internationally, and last but not the least was production, although there were bloopers but keeping in mind we're new in such aspects hence give them sometime before being over-critical, but even in future games if PCB and PTV didn't improve on regular, than I am going to be the very first person pointing fingers at them.

After the conclusion of National T20 tournament

I am not going to say that this tournament was super awesome and there is nothing like that in the whole world, but appraise to the PCB and its marketing team for placing such an awesome show, that too in Pakistani grounds.

Cricket coverage was onus

Unlike previous years, this time it was well placed coverage, I personally didn't like the first 3 days of the tournament but later on after the conclusion of the first week, the standard was getting better on the basis of matches being played, although IPL was also being played under stranded grounds, but appreciation to the PCB for having such an awesome show for a domestic product.

Quality of Cricket Played

Although I must be realistic that the quality of cricket being played was still not up to the International Standard, but still due to the cricketing coverage and the statistics PTV and its partner were airing, was might be the reason every player was competing with another.

Standard of few games

Kindly recollect me but was there a super over in this tournament? I watched every game, either on PTV Sports otherwise on YouTube due to power outage, but I saw a Sindh game where a player from Sindh namely Danish won Sindh the game on the last ball of the inning, this is the sort of innings and games which attract the audience towards TV screens.

Instead of Big name...

This tournament sported newer names or lesser known cricketers who represented Pakistan for limited period, whereas players like Babar Azam couldn't perform as regularly as we assume he is going to be.

Suggestions

I am unlike few Pakistani commentators who came for the show just for two days, because they had contracts with IPL, which means a Pakistani product is less important than IPL, this is something which detracted me from their YouTube channels.

1. Production presentation

Compared to previous years, this year the coverage was way better than precious years, but still it could be improved, just like the coverage standard between the tournament improved, but it could have been improved,

1.1. The Info-Bar

The basic concept of why Info Bar was introduced instead of traditional Window viewer was multiple information could have had been incorporated in linear mode, because in a linear line, more of the information can easily be incorporated, furthermore Sky Sports post 2003 and the same replicating TenSports in South Asia, started using stuffed info bar, where multiple varied information like overs, targets, balls remaining and current batsmen and bowlers etc information were shown, and even when showing a complete score card, the information bar or like I am calling it as an info-bar, was transformed into space where Extras, Overs and Team Total Score was stuffed, which was interactive.

2. What is on for Pakistan production?

Pakistan can utilize info bar, while distributing the info bar into two sides namely a right hand and a left hand side sporting 80:20% space respectively where right hand side is for showing constant information like Team Name, score, overs and during the first innings, it could easily be utilized as a projected score which could be updated upon single ball bowled. Because such information is definitely going to rejuvenate a viewers' interest with the game, because by that way one can imagine what is going to happen next, which is the way more interest can be instilled for viewers, just like Manhattan, Score Trends did on bigger screen, the same way info bar can be utilized for it be treated as more information eccentric, whereas right hand side could be utilized for showing off variable information like number of sixes, current batters etc.

3. Runners' window

While the camera is following the cover shot played, one must be curious how many runs both batters took, which is another way the viewer can be interactive and involved.

4. Field Position window just above the Left Hand Side of the Info Bar

This is another way interest could be instilled into interactive viewing where periodically, a small window could be visible so that viewers can see when their favorite batter is batting, what field position is the opposition bowler is utilizing, same is the case when team is chasing so such interactive graphics can easily be calculated where batter can having scoring areas. Inclusion of Wagon Wheels, Win-Wiz, and something like predictive analysis just like in Excel Spreadsheets, on the basis of performance till specific point, how a particular point might be predicted in future times, same is little tweak the PCB might include in their statistics team. 

5. This day in History

This is another thing, where there might be two benefits, first our junior generations are going to learn about the glorious past of Pakistan Cricket, furthermore it is going to give a positive message internationally that Pakistan did contribute that much into international cricket, and something like Pakistani Cricket Almanac might support your cause.

6. Runs per ball

This is another newer innovation, PTV could use as while batting second, it could be easier for viewer to understand how many runs are needed per legal delivery, which is definitely going to intensify the viewership.

7. Interaction with Twitter Handler

Since there was no crowd allowed for spectators in the ground, Twitter Handler #HarHaalMainCricket could have had been used for live interaction.

8. Urdu team kits, commentary and presentation - The Beta Version

The PCB could have had utilized this opportunity in promoting the National Language i.e. Urdu for presentation of Cricket, there could have had been options that the coverage on YouTube would have been in English whereas coverage on PTV Sports could have been in Urdu Language and Urdu Script. I would personally want presentation in Noori Nastaliq Urdu font, which could have had been experimental, because majority of the Pakistani masses are definitely going to get open, frank and more excited in elaborating themselves in Urdu Language. I would personally want renowned Urdu commentators like Aqeel Sameer, and inclusion of newer faces like Marina Iqbal who are a good inclusion in Pakistan female commentators, who have an excitement level which is good for Pakistan Commentary including Zainab Abbas.

9. Making Complete usage of Kits Numbering for identification of players names'

While a new player arrives on the crease, his name is to be shown along with his kit number, and while score card is being shown, kindly show their names along with their kit number, although this might result in creating identification of cricketers with their allotted numbers, although this might result in increase in scorecard window size, but it is better in increasing the interest of the masses while watching the coverage.

10. Proper Font Theme Family and placing less Emphasis on Bold Font

Font was supposedly small, and instead of using bold font, a normal sized font with normal case would have been better instead of uppercase, and something optional like dedicate a different graphic colour for each team, like orangish white for Sindh, reddish blue for Northern, Navy Blue with Orange font for Balochistan, and similarly like if you're showing score card for Sindh, title should be in Sindh kit colour, greenish yellow colour for players got out, white background with orange colour for not out players and greenish yellow colour still to bat, it would definitely create some excitement for your viewers.

I personally feel

Some suggestions might be feasible for you but I felt I should along with appreciation, a feedback should also be given on tremendous approach and making it more excited.
