HBL PSL 2026 - Painful presentation

Monotonous colour combinations used in this edition of HBL PSL 2026

In this image, if you segregate the combinations, there is a header, afterwards a sub-header i.e., where it is written HBL PSL - Match XXX, Afterwards Minor Heading where Islamabad United and Hyderabad Kingsmen written, whereas rest of the area is same as white area as shown here, as I personally feel that colours play an important role in acknowledging readability, for me this monotonous colour combination is painful for me.

Numeric Alignment

As I mentioned in my above linked blog post, and the screenshot I have placed, you could also observe that numeric alignment of this font is not aligning unlike this screenshot which is taken as inspiration for this year's PSL presentation, but in comparison to PSL, ICC's scorecard numeric alignment is always
aligned, I am placing different screenshots so that I may not look biased in my assessment, but just compare how presentation could make you look mature, or otherwise childish as I am seeing production value of current PSL broadcast, maybe they have worked on other aspect, but they missed the trick while doing R&D on look-and-feel aspect, which in current peculiar scenario where there is no crowd, and even though I am in Karachi, National Bank Stadium is half an hour away from my place, but we are not allowed to go inside stadium, hence watching the game via broadcast is the way, and when broadcast look-and-feel is not up to the mark, it is pain in the eyes.
