This was the drafted version I am publishing today, during the time period when Pakistan was playing test-matches in Australia, which was debut captain series for Shan Masood, read this post as of that time period.
This is a reality and likewise expected while on the second day of the first test which is being played at the Optus Stadium in Perth, where as expected, Pakistan's bowling was toothless, where a rookie in Aamer Jamal was pick of the bowlers, otherwise as I have been critical off our societal norms, where every single individual running 1.5 inch ki masjid,

I have been critically criticizing our own selves
The lack of transparency in our beloved nation, Pakistan, is a wound that pains the very soul of our collective existence. It's a heavy burden that we, as a society, carry, affecting the lives of ordinary citizens in profound ways.
In the realm of governance, corruption acts as a dark cloud, casting shadows on the promises of progress and development. The very funds meant for the welfare of the people often find clandestine routes, leaving the common man to bear the brunt of unfulfilled dreams and aspirations. It's a betrayal of trust, a betrayal that cuts deep into the hopes of a better future.
Behind the closed doors of economic activities, the informal sector operates like a hidden labyrinth. Its lack of transparency becomes a breeding ground for exploitation and inequality. Small businesses suffer, honest entrepreneurs face hurdles, and the wheels of economic growth struggle to turn freely. The heartbeat of our economy falters, unheard in the noise of obscured financial transactions.
Our judicial system, the supposed guardian of justice, sometimes shrouds itself in mystery. Delays and opacities in legal proceedings sow seeds of doubt, eroding the faith people place in the very institutions designed to protect their rights. Justice delayed is justice denied, and the pain of the denied lingers in the hearts of those seeking solace through the law.
In the realm of information, the restriction of access becomes a veil, shielding the actions of those in power. The right to know, a fundamental right, is sometimes treated as a privilege rather than an entitlement. Without the light of information, the path to an informed citizenry remains dim, hindering our collective ability to participate meaningfully in the democratic process.
As we turn our gaze towards the media, we find a paradox. While the landscape is vibrant, journalists often walk a tightrope, navigating through threats and intimidation. A free press is the voice of the people, and when that voice is stifled, the heart of democracy falters, leaving us in a state of perpetual unease.
Yet, in acknowledging these challenges, there is hope. The spirit of the Pakistani people, resilient and determined, is a beacon that can pierce through the shadows. Together, as a society, we can demand accountability, champion transparency, and build a future where the light of openness dispels the darkness that clouds our great nation.
It is a call to action, a call to reclaim the transparency that is rightfully ours. Let us, with courage and unity, strive for a Pakistan where the workings of the government are an open book, where economic activities thrive in the sunlight of fairness, and where justice is not a distant ideal but a present reality. The journey is arduous, but the destination is a Pakistan that stands proud, transparent, and true to the dreams of its people.
Nepotism, the bitter taste of favoritism, has seeped into the very fabric of our beloved Pakistan, casting shadows on the principles of meritocracy and equality. It's a wound that pierces the heart of every aspiring individual who dreams of a fair chance, irrespective of their family name or background.
In the professional landscape, the sting of nepotism is felt like a dagger in the dreams of countless talented individuals. The doors of opportunity, instead of swinging open based on skills and hard work, creak on the hinges of family connections. It's a betrayal of potential, a betrayal that echoes in the corridors of offices where competence should reign supreme.
In the political arena, nepotism weaves a complex tapestry, intertwining family ties with the threads of power. The sacred responsibility of public service becomes entangled with personal interests, leaving the common citizen questioning whether representation truly reflects the diversity of our vibrant society. The dream of a government for the people, by the people, sometimes feels like a distant mirage.
In education, the pursuit of knowledge is tainted when the road to academic success seems pre-paved for a select few. The deserving scholars, fueled by passion and dedication, find their paths obstructed by a system that sometimes values lineage over merit. It's an injustice that dulls the sparkle in the eyes of those who yearn to learn and contribute to the progress of our nation.
Families, the basic unit of our society, grapple with the consequences of nepotism. Siblings, friends, and neighbors watch as the promise of a level playing field fades away. The dream of a society where each individual can rise based on their own efforts feels like an elusive fantasy.
Yet, in the face of this challenge, there is a flame of resilience burning within the hearts of the Pakistani people. It's a call to break the chains of nepotism, to demand a fair chance for every individual who dares to dream. The spirit of our nation, deeply ingrained with a sense of justice, yearns for a Pakistan where success is measured by hard work and dedication, not by family lineage.
Let us, as a united force, challenge the status quo, dismantle the walls of nepotism, and pave the way for a Pakistan where every citizen, regardless of their last name, can contribute to the progress and prosperity of our great nation. It's a call to reclaim the ideals of fairness, equality, and justice that form the foundation of a society we can all be proud of.
Although this is a cricketing blog
That's the reason I am going to revert back to cricket, but this showing-off aspect have been prevalent in our Pakistani nation, where none is acknowledging the fault in them, instead they have been best judges of others, even I read somewhere, which was a satire, but totally relatable to our society, where during the first time, خطیب of the Masjid while uttered آزان the first time, none came, but the second time when the same آزان was uttered the second time, everyone started criticizing the second آزان, although on the call of first آزان we Muslims should have arose, but instead we gather all energies in order to PROVE OURSELVES CORRECT,
Transparency in selection of talent-pools for Pakistan
There has been a clear favoritism fiasco in Pakistan since April 2022, as the current regime has been running a "propaganda" campaign that continuously overshadows the country's interests on the international stage. The regime has been completely ignorant of the country's interests.
Same is the case in the selection of players, where our focus, vision, and mission have not been clear. We fail to recognize that we have been neglecting the country's interests by selecting cricketers based on factors other than their skills and strengths, which could benefit the country. Instead, we have been so blindfolded that currently in Pakistan, there are three forces at play.
- Karachi centric
- non-Karachi centric
- Punjab centric
I don't want to come across as a local fool, but the way we treated (I stand by my words) Sarfaraz Ahmed clearly shows that it was all preplanned. If the country was the priority, our strategy should have been to create backups. Instead, we have been running cricket based on "fake" cricketing clubs, and unfortunately, as a nation, we are okay with it.
