Celebrating the mediocre
Although Bangladesh took advantage of the mediocre celebrated by us, that till 1999, Pakistan was known for faster bowler, but yesterday while I was taking notes, than Nahid Rana (not Naheed Rana) from Bangladesh was the fastest bowler of the recently concluded PSL, just because we started celebrating mediocre mindset, not only in cricket but overall Pakistani society has been working on Hit-and-Run mechanism, where a Baby Boomer tried winning argument with me, that it is the government which is responsible for the mess, I was saying government is only the exploiter, responsibility lies on us since it is us who has been demanding these standards, and the world moves on demand-and-supply; he got on the argument that civilians never demand, I thought to myself, تو کیا ان کو آسمان سے وحی آتی ہے؟ which clearly means, as society we stopped taking wrong as wrong, and now mediocre demands that you win the argument, which is enough.
Too much Mediocracy
- Lack of adaptability
- Bangladeshi tricky conditions
- No chances of Pakistan taking Bangladesh series piece of cake
- PR agencies too much influence on team
Analysis
Two test matches, one in Mirpur, another in Sylhet, I am expecting tough series, because we are not taking test cricket as serious.
Conclusion
Previously it was Inzamam-ul-Haq saved Pakistan from defeat, but last time when Bangladesh toured Pakistan, suffered humiliating defeat.
