Pakistan Cricket: Still not optimistic with Pakistan clinching a win from this point!

Realistically speaking: Not optimistic at all.

Today, at 9 am when I returned home from my work, I just saw ESPNcricinfo live scores, where Abdullah Fazal and Azan Awais were playing steadily, after that I don't remember a thing as initially I wasn't expecting that Pakistan would sustain this much, secondly I was tired and sleepy hence instead I was planning for sleep and when I woke up, it was 6:48 pm, which means 10 am to 6:48, almost accounts for a 9 hours sleep, which elaborates a reality that this is how Pakistanis are treating Pakistan cricket, just because Pakistan cricket has not placed a standard instead adopting mediocracy, hence who gives respect to a mediocre individual? This is a question; we all are required to answer ourselves instead of behaving like حجتی and creating a generational rift between ages.

Let's be honest

This is first time, I neither watch the match nor followed scores online, because it was not worthy of compromising my individual sleep for these guys who doesn't play for the country, instead play with the country for their individual scores.

Celebrating 100 WTC wickets when Pakistan never qualified for WTC finals once

India has more potent record where twice they were featured in WTC finals, once against Aussies, next time it was New Zealand, how many times Pakistan came near to WTC final?

Is this how we want ourselves on the cricketing scene globally? This is a great shame, how we have been shamelessly trying to cover our faults while creating a positive narrative, but even if it is a motive, why not matching your performance accordingly?

There should be standardization

This is how other countries are testing their young players by resting their "Primes", whereas we have been persisting with them, all years long.

This is a shame, this is Pakistan Cricket Team, not Damad Cricket Team.

Mohammad Rizwan (kit number 16) mocked by Litton Das as heard off the stump mic

It was clearly heard in official BCB broadcast for this test match, where in Bangladeshi Hindi accent, it was clearly heard that اس کی ایکٹنگ  شروع ہونے والی ہے, this is how we have made mockery of ourselves globally, maybe some might say it is Bangladesh, I say it is World Test Championship, a Cricket Championship with Globe, and this is how we are performing?

Although sledging is parts-and-parcel of the game, but where in the world is your standardized performance? Where are your performance standards? If you have been performing and then getting sledged, this is understandable, but neither you're performing and afterwards over acting, just like Litton and Rizwan (16) behaved, if I were at Rizwan (16), I would have created a ground by cementing my performance and based on that performance I would had roared.

Not on these shallow grounds, because such reactions don't count at all anywhere. This is not new; I still remember 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup and their attention seeking behaviors. This is not the matter of individuals but instead it is clash of mindset which we have to address.

Mindset Analysis

Mindset is created when you know what you want to achieve, else you would be swiveling here and there all the time, again I will compare my mentality, if someone mocks me, I will first think that why I am here, Where I am, What I want to achieve, and if I react to this mock, how it would make me closer or farther to my speculated outcome,

When someone as stupid as myself, knows this, how is it possible that country's "finest" behaving so childish?
